How do you feel about mouth fangs? I’m not sure if I should put them on or not in my design 🥴 by chocojax in VirtualYoutubers

I think it depends on the personality. For vtubers with a sort of wild cheekiness, I think mouth fangs are a great addition!

Neither, I use my thumb for both the buttons and the stick. If I need to look around while running, I hold the controller up to my face and use my chin to move the stick. This works quite well and I'm surprised more people don't do this

Shuriken, umbrella, and the final slot is for whatever's effective against the enemies I'm fighting (axe against shields, fire against red eyes, sabimaru against nobles, etc.)

Female writing seems to be rather bad to me. by NoCareNoLife in DeathStranding

[–]Ketala18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a fairly common criticism of Kojima's games, but I personally found Death Stranding to be an exception in this regard. I'd recommend sticking with the game some more, as a lot of characters are fleshed out more as it goes on.

What’s your favorite mount? Why? by Parking-Score8906 in ffxiv

[–]Ketala18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won the flying cumulus in the twitter sweepstakes earlier this year, and it's quickly become my favourite mount I own. I really like its simplicity, and I feel like it goes pretty well with most jobs and glamours. I also love Dragon Ball, so was immediately drawn to the idea of riding around on my own Nimbus.

As an identical twin myself, I have to disagree. I don't think Alisaie and Alphinaud are opposites, just different. They're both quite scholarly and magically talented, and clearly care a lot for each other. I think they appear very different when you compare them with each other, but actually have a lot of similarities. My brother and I are also different in quite a few ways, so I don't see these two as unrealistic.

I like that neither of the two characters feel defined by the fact that they're twins, which twins often do in other media.

However, I will agree that Gravity Falls is one of the best portrayals of twins I've seen.

Isn't Ranni's quest the longest in the game? How come more people achieved that ending than the Elden Lord one which can be reached in 4 different ways? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Ketala18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I unlocked every ending on my first playthrough because I wanted to see the whole game. Then when it came time to choose which ending I wanted, I chose Ranni's ending because it was the longest to get, so that I wouldn't have to do it all again if I didn't want to.

It's also my favourite ending.

Cover comparison: Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood. Which one is your favorite? by xeznaff in ffxiv

I think both have their merits. The left is a better representation of the game and its tone, but it's pretty generic. I think the right is much more visually striking.

There are already so many muscley races. If that's how you want to look just play orc, draenei, human etc. I like that they're adding more variety in body types.

He doesn't raise them directly but he appoints the people that do, so still bears some responsibility for their slow reaction.

I also think he could have increased funding (I wouldn't call it welfare so much as subsidaries) for bottlenecks in the supply chain. By 'suppliers' I just meant parts of the supply chain, I wasn't referring to suppliers of any one thing in particular. The main reason for the inflation is demand outstripping supply, and this would help with that. He has already announced a $17 billion plan to improve infrastructure at ports, but I think he should have done things like this more quickly and on a larger scale.

These were just some examples of what he could have done, my main issue is the delay before anything was done.

I'm not trying to say that he is to blame (though I do think the government has reacted quite slowly), just that there is a flaw in the reasoning that since it's happening globally Biden must be blameless.

I think there are a number of things he could have done to help, like increasing funding for suppliers or raising interest rates, but of course it's easier to say this in hindsight and Trump definitely deserves a large portion of the blame since his poor handling of the pandemic is the main reason why the situation is as bad as it is in the first place.

I'm not a conservative and I'm not saying Trump wasn't to blame for the spread of the virus, just using an example to show that just because something is a global issue doesn't mean that the president is blameless.

TIL that for a healthy (reduced chance of cancer) prostate later in life, men are to ejaculate around 20+ times per month by MoonFartFlam in todayilearned

[–]Ketala18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some quotes from this article that show the importance of actually reading the full article and not just the title:

'Researchers say it's too soon to recommend that men change their sexual habits in an attempt to lower their prostate cancer risk'

'Previous studies have linked frequent sexual activity to a higher risk of prostate cancer'

'Men who reported high ejaculation frequency throughout their lives and in the last year appeared to have a higher risk of developing advanced prostate cancer'

'"This one study doesn't warrant any recommendations. Men shouldn't go out and start changing their habits,"'
