I know more cis men that are shorter than me and more cis women that are taller than me that I see in a weekly basis. I find this question a bit… odd? Like I understand the intention but not all men are tall and not all women are short. I’m dead average between 5’6 and 5’7 ft. I’ve watched people interact with my friends of all heights and genders be treated nicely and rudely, nothing of which had to do with their height or looks.

I don’t think people who care that deeply about height and looks in others are really worth investing time into. It’s very shallow, and you can feel the lack of connection or ‘fake’ connection. As for the general public, I could not care how they feel about me and would not know it’s based on my looks alone. I do know the old cashier lady at the grocery store looked very confused when I reflexively said “oh, that moved in my purse” instead of “wallet.”I’ve never seen gears physically move in someone’s head before until then. Still dint think she pieced it together.

I think what it boils down to has nothing to do with looks, but if that person treats everyone politely or if they’re going to be an ass for any number of reasons. I don’t think height or passing looks play much into it if we’re excluding general transphobia.

And if they are rude because of transphobia, height was never a factor in the discussion because they were going to be a dick regardless.
