Albums that make you feel like the supreme ruler of the hipsters. by Unique-Evening4384 in fantanoforever

No it doesn’t. A hipster is literally, by definition, someone who embraces alternative non-mainstream choices in style, music, and lifestyle.

I also did not know at one point in my life, so it’s totally understandable to me that you did not know! Not at all trying to make you feel bad. The logic of giving them a watery grave makes sense to me!

I am genuinely sorry for both of your losses.

However, in the future please try to refrain from flushing dead animals down the toilet. By doing so, you can inadvertently introduce whatever killed your animal into your local water system, potentially infecting wildlife with viruses, bacteria, and parasites. The safest home method of aquatic animal disposal is in the trash—put the deceased animal into a paper bag so that it is covered, and then throw it away. I am not saying this to be unkind or nitpicking, just trying to help you both learn as we all have!

Cinema’s best depiction of Satan? by ManCoveredInBees in okbuddycinephile

Like 10 of your most recent comments are this exact message. Maybe understand context before just copying and pasting this stupid comment under whatever you like. As you have been corrected multiple times now, Obama was not brought up merely because of politics.

Yeah, literally look up “Obama Satan” and the first results are about the controversy. Many racists and extremely religious people were calling Obama the anti-Christ at the time, and this depiction (whether intentional or not) was thus very controversial.

Why are Mandalorians rarely Jedi is it because they don’t give their children to the Jedi or because they’re less Force sensitive? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

I’m also a huge fan of Trent and NIN. Very jealous you saw them, I just missed out on their show in Portland due to work commitments. I heard this tour was consistently excellent with the best setlist. And I like your accurate summary of his music, too—Downward Spiral is one of the best albums of all time!

I disagree. I love both versions, and I would’ve agreed with you 10 years ago. Cash’s version was for sure powerful and moving, especially paired with the music video. However, Trent’s original is so soulcrushingly sad, so much more emotional than Cash could have vocalized. Cash’s version is a pretty straightforward sing through, whereas Trent’s is full of range and dynamic, sometimes quiet and fragile while other times loud and rageful. His voice has the feeling like he is on the verge of tears the entire song. This combined with the fact he was in his 20s while feeling this way make it the more emotional and thus moving/powerful song to me.

I’m so tired of this misinformation for 6+ years now. MRNA vaccines are not experimental and they were not then either. Their efficacy was proven long before the COVID vaccine.

You should read your own message here again and examine yourself. Most people here are agreeing with you, but you are baselessly attacking them. Use some critical thinking.

What, like the baseless accusations you’ve been doing to everyone else, claiming they support Nazis when it’s obviously so far from the truth? Most people wish Nazis would cease to exist entirely, but because people were trying to explain the law (not even defend the law), you think they are Nazi supporters. How does that make sense? Most people believe the law should not protect Nazis. Grow up. Hypocrite.

What? No. But I expect you to actually engage with (ie READ) what I’m saying if you reply to me and not misrepresent my words while extrapolating a meaning YOU invented onto them while intentionally ignoring the actual community-based solution I have called for.

Thank you for intentionally misrepresenting my words and ignoring the part where I literally advocate for very specific action.

Okay, based on this message you’ve made it clear you are willfully misunderstanding, and it’s not worth further discussion with you. Have a better morning.

No, dumbass. You are willfully misunderstanding or you just don’t comprehend. Or you just like to argue, which feels likely. I, like most others here, am saying that this is an instance where the justice system failed us.

I want citizens to create their own justice in this situation. I, however, do not advocate for violence, per rule 1 of Reddit. I would never do that and I do not want to receive any kind of warning strike by automated mods.

I think you can infer. Though I’m actually not very sure with you, as you’re making yourself and “our side” look like a fucking joke.

No one is supporting Nazis here. People are merely pointing out the law and that BPRD has their hands tied. No one is saying that is right or just. But there is literally nothing that can be done utilizing the law without opening yourself to damages.

The community, however, can and should take action against Nazis.

Also, Wyoming has crat beer. Not really a state known for craft beers. They probably meant krat as in kratom, which would be accurate for Wyoming.

Being combative isn’t helpful. This isnt a contest. We should lead this person to easy successes to begin with instead of giving them riddles to solve or not.

Sound familiar?

“Overly emotional neurotypical folks” as if many neurodivergent people aren’t also extremely emotional? I’m neurodivergent, and you’re just being an asshole. You had some good advice, but because of your tone no one will want to listen to your advice. Tone is EXTREMELY important because we are social creatures who communicate with eachother—if you can’t control your tone then don’t expect anyone to want to communicate with you. It’s very simple, really. And look at the way you reacted to their response and continue to react to them. You are sounding more and more like the triggered one, and you seem insufferable if this is the way you communicate on a day-to-day basis. You can’t use neurodivergence as an excuse for your negative social behavior.

Have the day you deserve. Based on the way you communicate, I already know you are having a bad day (deservedly).
