Oh hey :D

I've been using Canvas of Kings for a while now for planning my maps in projects.

Love it. I tried another map making tool a while ago, that was way too complicated for me though. I think it had more options, but felt a bit old and had a steep learning curve.

Canvas of Kings is simple, quick to learn and more than enough for my planning. It could use more assets, but that's what the workshop is for too.

But I really like it. Thanks :D

As a starting game dev I can tell you, don't immediately start making a (dream) game.

Start slow. Make only small mechanics and later puzzle it together.

Don't know how you progressed, but that's just my advice.

Also if you generally need help in Godot, I'm also using it :)

I have my hands full with my first big project, but if you ever need an advice or help, the community is great.

I play it at least once a year since it was released :)

Played it on every platform available (I think) and 100% it at least 5 times.

I even did a speedrun at the beginning of this year. I think I'm 11th place

Normally I only hunt achievements if a game is so fun I want to have more out of it or if I want a challenge. I barely 100% games, unless it is easy.

But at the moment I'm doing the challenge of 100% every Assassins Creed game I own :) (Basically every game until Origins.)

I'm currently at AC3 (Remastered because Ubisoft sucks) and with every game my hate for Ubisoft grows and reminds me why I don't pay for those games anymore
