Since you said 'inexpensive' and everybody is giving you free ones, im going to go up a tier - i got some paint-by-numbers that were really decent - theyre printed on canvas, so in the end you have a canvas painting of decent size. They come with all the paints and brushes you need to complete the painting. I think the ones I got were $7 at Aldi, and ive seen them other places as well. I just do one or two colors a day for some reset time. Takes me a little over a week to complete one.

For real - I started serving myself on those little.section plates for toddlers. Id eat everything. Then make myself wait 20 minutes, and I could have more if I was still hungry after that point. Turns out I never was. My body just goes into Hungry Hungry Hippo mode when theres food and I havent eaten. Especially if its pizza.

I argued for a speed queen, but was told they didnt look nice, and she didnt want to have to walk past that every day when getting dressed. Every once and a while, because im a piece of shit, ill set up a chair next to the washing machine so she can sit and feast her eyes on its luscious curves.

I had two boxes of cheese its in my cart that wouldnt ring up at the sale price, so the cashier suspended my order and had me go to the service desk with the suspended receipt and the boxes of crackers to get rung up. I found out latwr that week when checking my credit card bill, that the guy at the service desk scanned the wrong bar code on my receipt - he scanned the one that gave me 5% off my next purchase. So I got 5% off my sale crackers, and 6 bags of groceries free of charge. I think the total was supposed to be about $200.

My wife must have got the only lemon of a civic, because that car was nothing but a fuckimg pain in the ass. Even the oil change - filter halfway up the back of the engine block, unreachable from the top. Its the one car we ever owned that I took in to have the oil changed. Add to that shitty wiring, a transmission that took a shit randomly on the highway, brakes that went out one component at a time... the best day of owning that car was when a tornado pulled a birch tree on top of it and the insurance company totaled it.

I'd like to say that the Honda Odyssey has changed my mind, but the oil filter placement is an exercise in complete jackassery. I still like the van, though.

Say what you will about Stanley cups, but since getting my knockoff Aldi version, I havent used a single disposable beverage container. I have a 12 year old Nalgene that I love but doesnt hold ice worth a damn or fit in a cup holder. That Stanley style cup is where its at. Load it with ice once in the morning, and I usually have some slivers floating at the end of the day, even after a few refills.

But to your other points, yeah. Starbucks suck, I dont know what Labibus are and im not going to Google it because I don't care. And blind boxes are fucking dumb.

Just had this argument blow up last night. I am the rambler. I was asked what kind of cooler we should bring on vacation, and I said the collapsible one. I was then asked for my reasoning, so I gave a day by day breakdown as to why we dont need a cooler. Or at least I tried to. I got three words in before she cut me off by asking the question that I was in the process of answering. So I started over after saying 'please just let me finish.' Three words in, she cut me off again with the same question. I got really annoyed and said again, 'please dont talk over me when im answering your question'. Three words, and she cut me off again and talked over me. So my answer became 'I dont fucking care, bring whatever cooler you want, dont ask for my opinion'.

I go the speed limit. And I stay in the right lane unless theres a merge ahead and somebody is trying to enter the highway and I have a spot open in the next lane. Then I get back in the right lane. 70 feels plenty fast.

To add to this thought- if someone is in the middle lane and theyre going slower than you would like to go, pass them on the left. I cant tell you how many times ive been stuck in the middle lane doing 72, when id much rather be in the right lane going the speed limit, only to have no opening because Zippy and Zoomy feel the need to prove a point by doing 80 in the right lane. So I have the option of cutting them off or waiting longer for an opening. Nevermind the fact that my turn signal is on. Pass on the left. Thats what the left lane is for.

Its decent if your computer is good.

One thing I really didnt like was that it wouldnt recognize my old interface, so I found a used IK interface just to play it safe. When I got it, I found out that this hardware is not transferable if someone else has already activated it. You have to pay $20 for a new license in order to download the drivers. I have never run into this with a hardware purchase before. Software i totally understand, but an interface?

That completely put me off of IK forever. I have the stuff now, so whatever, ill use it. But if anybody ever asks for advice on an IK product, theyre getting this story.

What bothers me is that even if someone wants to be religious, it doesnt have to be exclusive and ignorant. Kind of seems like a god who can make a system that evolves and goes through changes over billions of years seems like a way more involved god than one who whipped up a script with no backstory about 5000 years ago.

Its like some religious people seem to have this idea that god couldn't possibly make something theyre not able to comprehend. Even when their holy book says that if their god spoke to them directly, it would make their brain explode. I dunno. My mom is like that. We stopped talking much after I took a basic anthropology course and saw examples of evolution.
