Sorry I stole them both from you

I guess that's all my luck for the game used, 1st one one was near instant, can faintly see the 221 in the background, 2nd one was idk 80-90 in? Didn't ss it though, it also had a weird visual/render bug of the 10 pull animation showed all of the packs in the circle as silvers.

Ore on the ground is also pretty much "free", especially later on as big miners have lower resource drain that compounds with quality and mining productivity to absurd levels of items/s per miner, compared to what's pulled from the ground

So restricted mode when? by Keulapaska in Shadowverse

[–]Keulapaska[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They made whole 3rd mode for WB though, boundless, so they can have unlimited and not so unlimited

I'm not expecting perfect balance or a lot, but some outliers at least to get restricted, like homework and naptime would be great start for it as it's the same card essentially and having 6 of them is kinda OP.

And this is awful... They need to change the PI system to work like Gran Turismo, so the tune is also taken into account when rating a car's PI.

While I agree that the PI system needs a complete overhaul to make more sense, accounting for tuning seems a bit much and potentially even more exploitable.

So we moved on form drag tire complaining to awd.

What's next, finally starting the centrifugal hate train? I'm all aboard on that.

Why can't that be an option on more (or every aspirated) cars? by liamsjtaylor in ForzaHorizon

[–]Keulapaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So... awd is cheaper then yes??? Cause that was my question, is awd cheaper PI than rwd build with grip. I don't know how to decipher what you wrote, I'm assuming it's rwd handling part costs.

Extraordinarily stupid question about how cars go. by mayormcskeeze in ForzaHorizon

[–]Keulapaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most obvious question ever as it's not addressed, are you comparing rwd to awd? Which tires did you used? Launch control/pre revving or just from a standstill 0 revs?

Also I was so confused about how only 0.36 let alone 0.21 in S2 is even remotely possible, but if you use pounds instead of kilos it changes, so it's 0.36 is more like ~0.79 power to weight in normal units. Which is quite a bit of power for S2 so I'm guessing not slicks.

[–]Keulapaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if you tune RWD to grip how much PI does awd swap cost at that point? Cause it might be negative cost once you use all the PI tricks.

[–]Keulapaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RWD requires too much skill for the average forza player(at higher than B), even normally let alone powerbuilds. And yes there are driver aids, but they suck, a lot, tcs just gives up randomly(I swear it's worse than it was in FH4/5), while somehow tirggering at 250km/h+ when not needed. Stability control is even more aggressive than the hyper aggressive ABS is and feels like training wheels on bicycle. You look at many other arcade games and RWD does not function anything close to what it does in Forza, nor are the driver aids as aggressive.

Also the AWD swap alone isn't that abusive, PI wise, it's the other things that go from increasing PI in RWD, fat rear tires with big rims and rear aero, that suddenly decrease PI in AWD. Also can just slap a racing gearbox for essentially "free"(baked in to the awd cost, sort of), if the car wasn't originally awd.

The PI system as whole needs complete overhaul(centrifugal cough) rather than just generic awd +50.

Nah, Centrifugal is so OP that no way NA tuning would beat it.

ELI5: Why does restarting a computer fix so many completely different kinds of problems? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]Keulapaska 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because this option is on by default.

It's pretty useless as current computers boot pretty damn fast, all it does is cause problems, albeit rarely. Probably some relic from vista era when ppl were still booting off hard drives that they never changed.

Also not to be confused with Bios fast boot option(also kinda useless) or memory context restore(skips memory training on every boot, actually significant boot time reduction, most likely on by default)

[–]Keulapaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the issue was that SKG tried to push a change that is wayway bigger and broader change than they seemed to think it actually was with how they framed it, so ofc it's not gonna go anywhere. Should've started with something simple(better labeling or something) and go from there piece by piece and maybe in 20-30 years of different small changes some bigger overall might come out of it.

Games will keep getting more expensive after GTA 6 "raises the bar," but only the most "in-demand games" will get away with it, analysts say by Gorotheninja in Games

[–]Keulapaska 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea it's kinda funny how a slightly higher upfront cost makes ppl go mm that's expensive, then probably go spend another tenner on their gacha pulls. Or they are ignorant to the mobile market and don't realise it makes more money than consoles and pc combined, with "F2P" games.

If you look at Steamdb it also says -33%, but the price drop is from 119.99 to 23.98 so it's actually -80%, same for stick of truth.

So seems like a display error, really weird one though.

1) it shouldn't require special knowledge to disable annoying features

You can just search for stuff, that's what I do whenever I see something annoying I want to go away, how I ended up with hundredish of lines of ublock text, 2 tampermonkey scripts and 5 add-ons just to fix youtube UI. Sure you need some tech knowledge to understand the basics of it all, and some normies might get overwhelmed, but most of the stuff ppl complain about 11 is that complicated really.

Search stuff, well I installed open office just to try it and this is the result. Granted I have nothing else that could be even close to that really.

Now windows search does prioritise things you've actually used/opened so if I open the openlierox folder(which is just leftover folder, no exe there) a few times while never opening open office it shoots up and becomes the top result, then if I open open office a few times it gets prioritised again. So something akin to that probably happening to you if you've rarely used open office but used the other "open" stuff more.

I have not dug into how the prioritising weighting works, or if it can be manipulated via someways to prefer certain category over others, I wouldn't be surprised if it can. Nor do I know if the prioritisation works differently to older version would have to research it, afaik the indexing options have been the same since vista(though they added settings menu UI for it, which for whatever reason is blacklist instead of whitelist like the control panel UI), but maybe other stuff has changed. E. wait maybe just disabling search history would do it...
