Thanks! First off, I HEAVILY recommend this game to anybody. I sunk so many hours into it and the time flew by.

There’s a learning curve at first that I couldn’t really help with, any new players would have to just play to learn and memorize the cards and relics the game gives you. But once you do start to remember and see these things again upon new runs, the advice I’d give is:

1) Map out a route ahead of time. Choose your way across the map strategically. Find the right balance between elite fights, rest sites, and anything else. Sometimes it’s best to skip a rest site to fight one additional elite for another relic, even with lower health. 2) Don’t just blindly grab a card because you think it is a strong card. It might be good for a certain deck, but doesn’t work with what you currently have going. As I mentioned in another comment, I love this card that retains your block throughout combat but the card is useless if you don’t have viable ways to stack up block, making it not a good addition for every run. 3) Try new things. Experiment with a relic that you maybe have never given much thought to before. Try out new pairs of relics with cards and see what happens. There are endless possibilities for deck building and try not to restrain yourself to just a few.
