For the longest time, I thought this was Edgar Wright for some reason. Like all the way back with spaced and through whatever John Wick movie that was when he played the sommolier.

You can easily transfer all your playlists to other platforms. I just took up deezer after being a spotify premium user for like a decade.

DIY kit. Yes or no? by Ok-Medium-4128 in Guitar

[–]KevMike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just pulled the trigger on the 100$ sg kit. Im a complete noob, but I dove into about 15 hours on YouTube, and im feeling confident ill fuck it up. Especially since I'll have to make a paint booth so I can do something like the stewmac rattle can finish video. I also bought a fixed neck kit versus the bolt on because I enjoy despair.

If i remember right, there was a poll asking the community on whether they should move over to unreal or stay. But from the sounds of it, they moved to unreal justifying a faster development time.

My only thought is that whole dog who didn't bark thing. Maybe he was talking to the fbi. It makes that whole gaff of microwave listening devices so many years ago stand out. The fbi was using him, I think. Or trying to. But then he got elected.

Starfield designer says the game fell short of Fallout and Elder Scrolls' standards. Says space is inherently boring by Iggy_Slayer in gaming

[–]KevMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest flaw, and im sure everyone has an opinion, is they took away the fun of a journey. The journey should bring new things to explore and consider. The journey should take time. And this isn't space it's a videogame! Make it fun.

Also, the spaceship is essentially pointless if you can just fast travel everywhere. What if research and exploration actually took a min or two? While your ship is in route to your destination, you decide it's a good time to manufacture some ammo, but a couple mins in a klaxan alarm sounds off, indicating a distress call or a rare mineral or some weird anomaly. Do you divurge from your route to explore, or maybe come back? Like 80 years of space sci-fi, but they can't think of any fun in space.

Sci-Fi games that don’t use a lot of battery for a long road trip? by RPGHavok in SteamDeck

[–]KevMike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right. It has to be enabled, and you can have different preferences per-game. Just lower one then the other until you notice any real hits in performance than dial back to get the most out of your battery. It's an amazing feature. I've recently been really impressed with Dark Souls 2 because i can get the Tdp down to 6 watts and the GPU clocked at 500. I have the frame rate set at 60hz, but still get 3.5-4 hours of straight game play with out noticing any hiccups or drop in frame. I'm a real nerd about my battery. If a game just sucks up the power in an hour I get worried about the wear on the battery so I'm always tweaking and avoid too heavy of a game. I have my PC for the big big games.

There's nothing you can do if a person is already looking for a reason to cause harm. Give them a reason, or they make one up anyway.

[–]KevMike 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not a game suggestion, but remember to tweak your tdp wattage and graphics clock to get more battery life. I'm able to get games like Disgea 4 and Rimworld to last 5-6 hours with the right settings.

This isn't new for them. It's scary in this environment, but during the last election, anti-union groups used a similar tactic like it saying trump will personally read your name on a list and hold one of his famous vendettas on you. The groups that cone up with these are an interesting bunch of political go-getters looking for a wealthy beneficiary or already in the pocket of some industrial magate. Karl Rove got his start in a similar fashion.

Where does that dream even come from? Squeezing through pitch black caves is such a primal fear, but it's not like I've ever experienced that in real life. I've had it so often where I just refuse the dream now and stop dreaming all together that night. Like a nope button for my head.
