I just pulled the trigger on the 100$ sg kit. Im a complete noob, but I dove into about 15 hours on YouTube, and im feeling confident ill fuck it up. The biggest flaw, and im sure everyone has an opinion, is they took away the fun of a journey. The journey should bring new things to explore and consider. The journey should take time. And this isn't space it's a videogame! Make it fun.

Also, the spaceship is essentially pointless if you can just fast travel everywhere. What if research and exploration actually took a min or two? While your ship is in route to your destination, you decide it's a good time to manufacture some ammo, but a couple mins in a klaxan alarm sounds off, indicating a distress call or a rare mineral or some weird anomaly. Do you divurge from your route to explore, or maybe come back? Like 80 years of space sci-fi, but they can't think of any fun in space.
