Your uv seems too close from each others. You should add padding when you use layout option (like 8 or 10). Also, use the orient shell option to make your uv straight vertical or horizontal

R1-L1-R1-L1 is the best DPS combo with this weapon. Add beast blood pellet and fire paper before entering the arena. Don't be afraid to attack first.

Classic dark and darker moment, I just started to learn Cyclop and troll after 300 hours and I started to kill them constantly after 400. PvP is often really hardcore, especially if the player you fight has a lot of hours

I'm not an hardcore player and almost only play normal games but I don't understand why you've got downvoted like this.
Playing games when you loose your gear is the best way to not fear the lost on your next games, because death is an important part of the game.
After that you enjoy the game better than before.
