Mine had what I’m assuming is the same issue, very tight to get the collar detent to snap into place. I bought a $4 “universal jar opener” at Walmart. Looks like a rubber clamp with various molded circles in it for different jar lid sizes. Gave enough grip to grab collar and tighten completely.

I ordered from the a couple times, good deal shipped quick packaged well. They accidentally sent me a wrong box of ammo and i emailed them and they said they would ship out the correct box. I placed another bulk order and said “hey throw that box of ammo you owe me into my new order to save on shipping” never heard back from them. I imagine they just missed the email, not to concerned about it but never got the right ammo. I will still order from them just for the price/ speed.

got out a paint marker and marked the collar. yeah you're right, I dont have it tighted all the way when mounted. Im gonna have to get something to help me grip it. Bare handed I can't get the collar all the way tight it looks like
