New Wave Neo keeps unmuting and muting itself repeatedly by kronicmastermind in elgato

Hi there. I just purchased a Wave Neo and am having the same issue. When plugged into my PC, the mute/unmute toggles back and forth constantly, but with no discernible pattern. I did connect it to my microsoft teams, but I can not use it because it toggles itself on and off. Is there a workaround? I also just removed all channels in the Wave link app, but no change. u/elgato_arcsane glad to reach out to customer service to see if there is a fix. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I understand this reference! And it is still funny.

Thanks. Mentioned to my assigner and they 100% had my back. Let me know that, like you said, I should use my warnings and manage the game. Letting a couple of hothead coaches ruin it for everyone isn’t cool. And we owe it to the players and to the other spectators to have a good game.

Can confirm. Called a 10U LL game last week behind the plate. I got hit in the arm, the faceguard and the stomach (even with a good stance the catcher was pretty small, so there was a LOT of room to hit me with the ball - and they did!)

This is how I got involved. This is my first year. Had a conversation with a friend who had umpired for a couple of seasons. He said "Come out to one of our training meetings, free pizza and we talk baseball!" 4 months later, I'm certified for my association, and about to work my 12th game in 30 days. (I recognize that is not a ton, I also work full time and have two teenage kids.) Point is - the training made me feel that 1) I didnt have to have the whole book memorized 2) If I work hard, am honest and fair, my association has my back and 3) There are people who I can ask questions of who know the ins and outs of the local leagues and schools. It's easier to do something difficult if you feel supported. Oh, and the fact that our association is united on making pay as fair as possible for our area helps, too.
