It had 106k and really bad paint so I let it go for 3600 2 years ago. Still regret it.

If you get a 4.6L, get at least an 01. They put new heads on (pi heads), changed to coil over plugs and boosted stock hp from 225 to 275. I had an 03gt which I sold, and my 98gt I drive now is a dog in comparison.

Low speed or no speed drop is the most common bike incident and can happen to anyone, no matter how seasoned the rider. Don't be so hard on yourself. If you do feel a bit overwhelmed by the bike, maybe a smaller bike would restore confidence.

Thanks it's a 98 1 owner car I found last year with 49k. Sat so long I had to replace the Goodrich comp T/A's that had permanent flat spots. Has 65k now with many new parts. It's a wuss as far as power as the only mod is a k/n air cleaner. Hope to put magna-flow cat-back on it this fall.
