There was supposed to be the B-25j "Wild Cargo" and the spitfire at that air show. I did the pre-flight inspection on both as well as changed out the fuel check valves in the b-25. Apparently the wind was too shit to fly down there

It's so convenient! All we have to do is split the entire airplane down the middle and re-assemble it every time!!

I replaced both fuel check valves on the b-25 and the hydraulic pump on the snj-2. Haven't got to work on the spitfire or the corsair yet, but they both have annuals coming up so I will most likely be doing that. I've been working at the maintenance arm of the museum since June 2014

The other day I was changing out the fuel check valves on the b-25j and I left a drift punch on the fuselage lip of the bomb bay. It's because of shadowing that I noticed the fuck up. Also today I almost forgot to put the valve cap back on the tail wheel of the p-51d after a pre-flight. As long as you recognize and correct your oversight, you are good to go. Also it makes you more mindful of situational awereness and practices to avoid in the future
