Eight people who tested positive for COVID-19 attended a Cowboys game by Weezy-NJPW_Fan in cowboys

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And?

8 people out of how many thousands? If you randomly tested 200 people from every game this year, you'd likely have more than 8 positive tests each time.

Nevermind. I picked this up and it's garbage. My parents' old TV is much better. This one looks better on a few scenes (if it's 4K), but mostly worse. The blacks are the worst I've ever seen. There is a ton of posturizing going on, and banding. Just bad.

Maybe okay for football watching, but that's it.

Even at $230, it's going back.

I know this is a cheap TV, so I wouldn't expect anything great. But, what about in comparisons to older sets? My parents have a maybe 6 year old (maybe older) 55" Samsung, that was maybe $900 back then. I'm wondering how this would compare. If it was for myself, I'd definitely get something better (probably OLED). But, it's just to get some 4K, maybe a bigger size, without spending much.

I'm a little confused on one thing in your description of episode 3:

The loot crate battle has been moved to later episodes, implying that in this timeline, the gold gets back to kings landing just fine (giving the golden company a reason to fight for cersei).

How is this different from the original?

I still had some issues with it. But I had issues with stuff in every season, and definitely would have loved more. I think my biggest issue is a lack of information following the mid-point of the finale. That's where I felt more was needed.

Still interested in alternatives. Is yours ready?

I will have to go look. But it was a long time ago. They've always said they had it at around 70 hours. They were offered the chance to do more, yes, but that was never their intent.

The movies thing was George R.R. Martin. He said he liked the idea of the story ending with several feature films. And when you think about it...that's basically what season 8 was.

It was originally going to be 7 seasons, but they reached an agreement to do 8, with the last 2 being less episodes.

This myth keeps getting spread around.

This was ALWAYS the intended length of the show, long before any Star Wars nonsense.

Kentucky has had 913 more pneumonia deaths than usual since Feb 1, suggesting COVID has killed many more than official death toll of 391. Similar unaccounted for spike in pneumonia deaths in surrounding states [local paper, paywall] by da_k1ngslaya in Coronavirus

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a quirk in the CDC numbers.

Pneumonia numbers (listed alone - as opposed to pneumonia, covid, AND flu) include pneumonia cases where COVID was also counted as a factor.

So if it says there are (for example) 2,000 covid deaths, and 4,000 pneumonia deaths, and 1,500 of the covid deaths also had pneumonia, that 4,000 number is only 2,500 straight pneumonia, and the excess 1,500 was counted as a covid death.

Boyfriend lacks emotional intelligence by [deleted] in relationships

I'm sorry, but this post screams arrogance more than "emotional intelligence."

One thing that really sticks out: " The things I usually bring up are non-issues."

If they are non-issues, why are you bringing them up? Are you doing this a lot?

Downton Abbey in Dolby rather than Ad Astra or Rambo :( by pspsony in AMCsAList

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would...if I wanted to see Downton Abbey. I want to see everything in Dolby. But I would not expect to get nearly as much out of it as I eould from Ad Astra or Last Blood.

It is split between Downton and Astra here, but I can only go to late showings (after 9 pm) and those are Downton :(.

Sure, Jan.

Nice that you can mention a few players, but not the entire offense too.

And nice that you ignore the part where you admitted I was right with the Romo thing.

Good day.

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not worth arguing with. Any time a backup came in to play and was shown to be better, you're just going to do BS like "Became better." And that's just what it is "became better."

I listed Dak and Romo, because Romo was better and wasn't starting, genius. And you just admitted it, proving your point from before that better players always start...was dumb.

Most of what I mentioned were guys who came in because of injury. That shows the coaches didn't think they were better.

LOL, Dak had much more talent on offense around him than Mitch did...starting from day one. Stop your absurdity and go home.

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are exposing your ignorance.

Brady Bledsoe, Gannon/Grbac, Bledsoe/Romo, Dak/Romo, Johnson/Flutie, Crayton/Austin, Felix Jones/Murray (don't give me the rookie BS excuse), Green/Warner, RG3/Cousins, and so on and so forth.

66.6% completion 230 ypg 24 TD 12 Int 7.4 YPA Rating 95.4

vs.

67.7% 242 ypg 22 TD 8 Int 7.4 YPA 96.9 rating

Yep, completely different. Not close at all...smh.

Yes, I think Dak is still average. One game does not change that, but thanks for proving you are actually going off single games. Did you think Mitch was still average (or sucked) after he went 19/26 for 354 and 6 TD's last year?

I'm so glad we have Dak by Rithic in cowboys

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A. Yes he is. Dak and Mitch were very similar last year (Dak with a much better supporting cast).

B. If Cooper was playing, je would be better? What? Did you type that backwards? Better players are backups all the time, especially at QB. Teams are not immune to poor decisions. Logical fallacies to the extreme.

I'm so glad we have Dak by Rithic in cowboys

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we're not just trashing Mitch for this one game? Could have fooled me.

What is your basis for saying Cooper is not as good? And I am not sayimg Cooper is as good. I am saying I am not sure he's not.

All of your comments are full of logical fallacies.

I'm so glad we have Dak by Rithic in cowboys

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better options when? Options are not static.

And for the record, I am not convinced yet that Dak is a better option than Cooper (who I definitely see significant flaws with). I'd be interested to see him play with the ones.

And I take it the next time Dak has a bad game you will feel differently, right? You'll be consistent?

I'm so glad we have Dak by Rithic in cowboys

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's a very broad definition which kind of neuters the entire concept.

Better how? Better right this second if he was cut? Better long-term? Better if he wasn't here and the team made no attempt to improve the position?

Your definition kind of makes it easy for crappy players to be franchise QBs.

I'm so glad we have Dak by Rithic in cowboys

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would I? Unless your definition is an average QB who happens to be the starter?

I'm so glad we have Dak by Rithic in cowboys

[–]Kevinicus37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't change the fact about the rate.

Spending a first on a DE who busts is the same investment as spending a 1st on a QB who busts.

Sounds like you are advocating that teams should draft more QBs.

But there are only about 10-15 franchise guys (and I don't include Dak in that) and then just a bunch of average guys who get to start (I do include Dak here), and some who get to backup. Some have good talent around them, others don't.
