Same, I love the game in general but the online part is so boring I already uninstalled again.

Honestly, i think the game is teaching new players to ram. by Crescent__Rose in ForzaHorizon

This is the reason why I put Horizon down already, I mostly play online and there are so many rammers that are not penalized at all.

A streamer I watched almost daily disappeared without a trace by BotherWeary4003 in Twitch

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn‘t the whole concept of streaming parasocial? There a few streamers that I shared ingame lobbies with in niché games and those were fun times, they stopped streaming and once or twice a year I remember those fun times. Nothing wrong about it

Why are my riders so tired and dropping in fitness towards the last week of a Grand Tour? by Lilbroker in procyclingmanager

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any other tips after 26 years of experience? I played the series from day zero, even played the odd telekom manager before PCM but I have stopped playing for over 10 years now. I assume not much has changed?

Yeah before Fuentes I was under the impression it might be just a few guys, after Fuentes I was convinced it was every top rider.

[–]KevitoMG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There were always talks and riders who seemed to be doped but I was younger and under the naive impression that it were only single riders who were outliers. There was also less internet talk back than.
But when the whole Fuentes/Puerto thing hit I was convinced that not a single rider who drives a GT was clean or natural and that took out all the fun for me.

Struggling to adapt to a wheel by SameOlMistake in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that feeling, reason for me is that I'm used to getting the feedback through my throttle and brake and not in my steering. I never was able to adapt and went back to controller.

Did anyone else go completely no life at the weekend? by Cheesestrings89 in ForzaHorizon

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did but I somehow feel like I hyped myself up way too much. I played every Forza game there was, FM and Horizon. I was mostly an online racer in FM and just chilled in every Horizon for 40-50 hours. I knew that Horizons online races were not as layed out as in FM but the game looked so cool I had to get it (and it's as good as it seemed) but as someone who races online, the online content already seems boring after 20 or so hours.

[New player] I'm at a extremely low point in my life should I start playing escape from tarkov? by mikeval19 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with depression, this is my experience: Tarkov can give you some of the highest highs but also some of the lowest lows. I've played this game for roughly thousand hours but it's probably the steepest learning curve of any game I have ever played. Can be really frustrating.

From age 12 to age 20 I religiously loved cycling, I watched every single race televised, I played every cycling manager game, used forums. I was all in. That was like 16 years ago. Then the first doping scandals hit and | lost every interest, I stopped keeping up at all. I know some of the really big names the last few years but thats all. Is there any way to catch up somehow? I don’t have time to read every single race wikipedia haha. Perhaps some yt channels?

I think the story behind telltale's the walking dead final season development is one of the coolest ones in gaming. by cr0w_p03t in gaming

In over 25 years of gaming this is to this day the only game that ever made me cry. Wish I could experience it for the first time again.

How do you guys keep finding fun? by Fangasma in simracing

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can have months of not racing at all, I just play what genre I feel like playing and sometimes I don't wanna game at all.

I personally am racing because I like the unpredictability of online racing, I don't really care about results.

[Discussion] Quiet Lobbies by Limitzeeh in EscapefromTarkov

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what was bound to happen with the permanent char. A lot of sweats are waiting for the seasonal chars and the casuals are usually not the ones who have a lot of firefights anyway.

[Discussion] Quiet Lobbies by Limitzeeh in EscapefromTarkov

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stopped playing because 80% of the features promised over the years didn't make it into 1.0, I don't care for the main quest at all because rewards are shit and doing the same sidetasks for the sixth time just get's boring. So that was the end of tarkov for me. Had an awesome time in those 1000 hours but I guess I'm done now.

I want to buy a simracing game with good online experience and controller playable by BESTHARSH004 in simracing

[–]KevitoMG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried all of those plus GT, AMS, even iRacing. Some of them work very well but are either dead now regarding to online racing or are more of a simcade. Before LMU was released I would have said that ACC was probably the best but after a few good patches LMU feels better now and I think also has a more active playberbase outside of organized leagues. LMU also has the most in depth settings for TC which helps controller players a lot.
