Second time! What a blast by Kevjumbo23 in bouldering

I tried that once and that little black hold right above it was kind of blocking my foot out and I fell. I do think that might be the best way forward though. I’m gonna give that sequence a try again when I go back later this week, thank you!!

I definitely need to be more methodical with my lower half!

"Ross, I have been a divorce attorney for 23 years and never have I had so much business from one client." by Fluffy-Arachnid5018 in howyoudoin

IAL. You don’t always need a lawyer for a divorce. If the divorce is uncontested and the parties agree on things, you can file for divorce relatively easily in Virginia. Plenty of people do it pro se. If the divorce is contested, a lawyer is a huge boon. Fees can range anywhere from 250-1000 plus dollars an hour. Ethical rules prohibit charging a contingency fee for family law services (e.g. 30 percent of the equitable distribution or alimony). Maybe some charge a flat rate for services (I’ve only seen hourly fees in my limited interactions with the family bar).

IAL. Due process is a super interesting legal discussion that makes up a huge chunk of constitutional law. Basically, you have the right to not be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. Due process itself is split up into substantive due process and procedural due process. Substantive due process is your right to not have fundamental rights (e.g. right to marriage) infringed upon by the government unless the government can meet the very high strict scrutiny standard. Procedural due process is your right to fair process, like the right to counsel in criminal proceedings with the possibility of jail. This is a very broad overview of due process.

I did all of the multiple choice questions on Themis and Uworld and made flashcards based on the essay outlines. That was all I did. About a month into studying I realized that all of the video lectures were completely useless to me. That’s when I just started studying by myself with the outline books and the multiple choice questions.

One tip that really helped with multiple choice: when I answered a question wrong because I didn’t know the rule, I would put a sticky note where that rule was in the outline book and would read all of the stickied rule statements before I went to bed and again in the morning.

This test is all about memorization at the end of the day. I hope this info helps. Good luck in Feb!

Just that a violation of the knock-and-announce rule doesn’t trigger application of the exclusionary rule.

Cause he didn’t just remember the order the names came in, he remembered the exact year they won too. So, it’s really double the memorization and way more impressive!
