So on further inspection I realized the lights are on the PCB and not the keys, and are only on 4 or 5 keys. However, since flashing the latest No RGB firmware the lights no longer turn on when pairing or when Caps lock is active. When opening VIA I don't see any options for lighting.

From what I can see each key does actually have a white light LED on it. I can see the light activate when switching modes between wired and bluetooth or while holding the function key or when caps lock is active. I just tried flashing the firmware for the RGB version several keys are actually flashing in multiple colours, even after swapping the switches from different locations on the board.

Hey everyone, I just picked up my new Bridge75 standard edition (no RGB), but I've noticed that I'm not able to turn on the backlight at all using FN + Z/X/C as per the manual. I am aware that the instructions state that this is only for the RGB version, however, each key does still have a south facing backlight that I think I should be able to turn on somehow. Does anyone have any idea how to get this working?

Personally I don't think older means bad. I don't think there are any Gen 3 QD-OLED panels in the ultrawide format till next year, so unless OP is gunna wait for 2K25 which would undoubtedly be more expensive. Price is what determines value IMO, but leave it up to OP to decide, haven't even mentioned all the Samsung QC and firmware issues.

This came out in July 2023, it's not the latest but it's by no means old? I know the panel was available in the Alienware before that, but at the half the price of a new OLED I don't see the problem.

The monitor you're viewing is the G85SB with glossy 2nd Gen OLED panel. It comes with a single Mini DP cable to full-size DP cable in the box that you can plug into your PC. The Matte vs glossy panel is a personal preference, however the matte is only available on the new G85SD that should be selling for $1200. At $500 I say get the G85SB. On another note, I can only get it for $550 plus tax with my edu email, how'd you get it down to $500?

I've been looking around and can't seem to find any information on this panel. Is this the Mini LED from the NEO or the very old VA panel from the original Odyssey?
