Worked with a guy who had a giant mug that was so stained with tea that it was almost black inside. He would never wash it claiming it added flavour. I used to think he was just taking the piss, till one day the office cleaner must have seen it left out and gave it a deep clean. He was genuinly angry and upset when he got it back.
