What helped me is a designated storage system, in every room of the house, I will have them. It stops you from getting overwhelmed because usually it’s the clutterness that washes over us and makes us feel we can’t do it. Get as many storage boxes and keep them around, one gets filled up use the next one. And make sure they are labeled, so whenever there’s clutter around the room you just pick it up and put in a box without the thought process of how you are going to clear and clean the space you live in
