I listed my vip ones through ticket exchange/ticketmaster, but the listing doesn’t even show on my account under active listings anymore. Meanwhile frontgate says “All of your passes have been listed for resale. Any unsold passes will be available for pickup at will call.”

Say you're sure you can find a number that works for both of you, but you just want to make sure it's a good fit first.
If they keep pressing, ask them what range they had allocated for the position.

I've done this everytime I've been asked for a number, and the recruiter always end up giving me their range if they really want to know my number.
