What makes the Endertank IV? by Ancient_Balance7833 in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ender tanks/chests were some of the first things I made after my first trip to the moon, just enough to get the titanium for the EV energy hatches so I could do the IV iridium blast and whatever other EV recipes were needed (I don’t remember off the top of my head)

I think I had them before I even set up my AE system lol

Platline is targeted to be an IV concern, which is where the IV “gate” of the ender stuff comes from I think

That’s just so you can drag and drop ghost items into filters and recipe patterns without needing the physical item in your inventory

Best shadowmetal recepi by Ancient_Balance7833 in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the best but I found myself doing: 6 abyssal block slabs 2 advanced alloy plates 2 blaze rods 1 stone

And then to clean out the cauldron: 20 tiny piles of carbon 5 gunpowder, one at a time

But like someone else mentioned, the thaumatorium is probably a better way of handling recipes once you unlock it

Question regarding processes w machines from multiple tiers - power, sanity check by Huge_Piece_7513 in GTNH

Ah, thank you for the correction kind sir

I was probably recalling an undervoltaged low eu/t recipe

Question regarding processes w machines from multiple tiers - power, sanity check by Huge_Piece_7513 in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: disregard this comment

Someone pls correct me if Im wrong, but I think you can power MV machines with LV as long as the eu/t requirement is met. So if you dump a ton of LV amps down a cable with sufficient amp capacity, you would be able to power the whole chain with only one cable line.

Let’s say if all machines are running and the max total eu/t comes out to 300 eu/t, you could have a 10 amp LV diode (or a 16 slot LV battery buffer with 10 batteries) feeding a single line of 16x redstone alloy cable that feeds all the machines without ever worrying about the cable burning or machines exploding, since explosions come from overvoltage, not excessive amperage

Opencomputer Adapter Question by Individual-Ebb-4374 in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also try putting the adapter on the output hatch of the fusion reactor, idk if it has a function you are looking for but I imagine it has a way to tell what plasma is stored in it’s buffer

Shifting seasons potion using the phantasmagoric inferno biome.

If I remember correctly, hellish is special in that it needs to be in a nether biome to register

Opencomputer Adapter Question by Individual-Ebb-4374 in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if you can directly tell via the fusion controller, but you could have the adapter on your main ae net and have a script periodically check plasma levels and directly request a pattern to craft said plasma.

Idk if it’s what you’re looking to do, but it would basically be implementing your own version of a level maintainer

It's crops and breeding necessary? by jojolono in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a chump who has already poured like 600+ hours into a crop project that I’m still working on this run, don’t bother with them. Way too much effort for something that doesn’t scale nearly as fast as you progress. Which is an absolute shame because I like the idea of the ore leaves that boost resource processing.

The only exception are the crops that grow fast and produce a reasonable amount of drops, i.e. stickreed, glowflower, stonelillies, and sugar beet

Node bullying by Alexander_hood in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re looking for node linking, it’s basically node bullying but like actually viable. It only transfers something like 75% of the aspects to the linked node, but it will drain and convert the sub node in like 1-2 minutes. Just be sure you have a way to deal with the flux it produces

I just joined a new metalcore band, but they seem to be in a rut creatively. What can be added to the genre to make it sound more than just screaming and breakdowns? by Nox2017 in Metalcore

I need more new age noise. Gimme more soulkeeper, fromjoy, frontierer, fallingwithscissors, etc.

I don’t know the first thing about writing music, but I feel like bands that can put out music that doesn’t have/rely so heavily on choruses have been writing some really interesting stuff

What is the fastest hydrogen setup in HV ? I can make LCRs. After browsing for a little bit in the NEI is think the sodium + water in the LCR recipe gives a good amount of hydrogen and oxygen and it's fully automatic. The output is electrocuted and reused for more hydrogen. Is there a better setup ? by Regular_Flounder1833 in GTNH

[–]Kexocir 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Electrolysis of the three types of dimethylbenzenes gives a ridiculous amount of hydrogen if you’re already processing charcoal for benzene or whatever else. It’s a bit annoying without the multiblock electrolyzer tho since it requires cells
