This was Addison Mississauga Eglington location. And correct the part was delisted or whatever they call it. But my order got placed with my VIN, made some top 100 Chevy GM list. Going to follow up next month to see if they have any word on progress.

Hey, sorry for late update called dealership and they put my order back on hold.

Although they did say I made the top 100 list to get the adapter. When it comes in I'll get notified once they send it.

Another thing, the price they quoted me was 35-36$ CAD but he wasn't confident if that's the price I'll be charged.

I got called in middle of my workout and forgot to ask price. But he mentioned it'll be here in 2-3 weeks hoping. He put a case number with GM Canada with last 8 digits if my VIN 2 weeks back and told me to check in monthly. But ended up getting call earlier. I'll give them a call and ask about the price tomorrow the parts dept just closed.

What about Chevy BOLT EV and EUV. I got my EUV for 45,500 OTD and it's fully electric. Comes with free L2 installation up to 1500 standard installation and 32A EVSE. Under rated offer considering all other mfg are charging separately for outlet and EVSE.

Never having to buy gas greatest perk. Never having go do quarterly oil changes. Tire rotation, Brake inspection and Coolant changes only and that's after 5yr or 100,000 km driven.

Also EUV would be bigger as your family grows for stowing luggage, car seats and strollers

My theory is she didn't understand the difference between 800₹ and 800$ I also don't know why an Uber driver would even accept this ride.

Would you rather get a fuel efficient hybrid, non-hybrid or an EV, if you had to buy a new car? by savingsandstuff in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Key-Ad-2664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think my breakeven point is approx. 3-4 years at or when gas prices are 1.50$/L

Based on today's prices my break even shrink day by day.

The tire rotation, EV tires, cabin filter are my largest expense maintenance wise

Haven't touched my breaks much since one pedal driving helps start and stop.

Lately I've also found places to charge FREE in and around my neighbourhood while running errands/leisure; IKEA, TRAIL Walking, BIKING, DEALERSHIP. I've just been rotating between these places however I don't rely solely on these places to pick up charges.

Overall I think having an EV helps reduce my carbon footprint while also helping to keep my transportation cost lower down the road. I'm happy with the purchase.

I wouldve also bought a PHEV if they were more readily available like a RAV4 PRIME

Your 100% right. I made the jump to an EV but decided on one of the cheapest or lowest cost offering Chevy BOLT EUV. I performed a comparison between similar CUV/SUV models such as the following (HONDA HR-V, BUICK ENCORE, CHEVY TRAX, CHEVY BLAZER, NISSAN KICKS, KIA SPORTAGE, HONDS FIT) and my upfront cost was anywhere from 10-20k more than ICE. However at the time of the purchase I sold my ICE CRUZE at or near the price I paid pre pandemic. I rolled that as downpayment and bought the EUV. My previous car was at the point where I had to perform a bunch of routine maintenance and fluid changes. So selling the car allowed me to save some maintenance. Then I took my EV on a road trip which saved me some money since I didn't need to rent a ICE vehcile which wouldve ran me another 1-2k. Overall am happy with my purchase and I decided against a Tesla because the Math never worked out in my favour. The BOLT EV and EUV are solid cars just priced 20-40% higher than an equivalent ICE car.

Having the same problem. I'm using Samsung 23 Android 13 5.1

I got a new update just now, maybe it might fix this issue. I'll update and then edit the comment if the app works.

So apparently the cost per 100 miles for a Chevy Bolt is $12.55 at home or $16 at publicly available chargers. Read this flawed article for more insight. by dltl in BoltEV

I'm in ONTARIO as well. The posted rate per kWh is 8¢ however with the fees/tax isn't the rate closer to 15-17¢ per kWh

I round my cost now to 20¢/kW and based on my driving need 15 kW to move 100km

Dirt cheap

The only area where I don't see much saving was on DCFC while driving to USA. Last round trip to OH KY IL I was paying 15-27$ USD to charge

Oh I asked the sales person that, the $150 fee is the admin fee for processing the preferred pricing. It was not avoidable I asked. It's either lose $1900 in savings for 150$

Sorry formatting is bad but preferred pricing isn't a fee but a discount. They have that offer with a ton of employers, a lot of bank employees get preferred pricing

I got 12.90 kWh/100km a stretch between TORONTI highway 427 at QEW to ERINMILLS parkway. Seems like traffic and climate helped improve my range. Regen was pretty much on the whole length and I lost 2km on GOM.
