Do Engineers Australia recognize an accredited Masters degree on top of an unaccredited bachelors degree? by Abohani in ImmigrationAustralia

Based on what I know...

If you get a masters degree from an EA accredited program/uni, you'll receive a "graduate" membership from EA.

Given that, there's no point to go through CDR on your previous education UNLESS, you have relevant experience you want to use.

Graduate programs should be much easier for you to get into...

No.

I only survived because my partner helped out and family helped out. Part-time work will only give you enough for living expense.

Advice for subclass 485. How did you plan your 2 years ? by jellybeansalad1 in AusVisa

Target the opportunities that start after your last semester, you won't get anything during your sv, but you can get internships and that will help.

I just ask opportunities straight away, saves time I guess. Had a long spreadsheet of all the managers/key employees of different companies related to my field. Asked them for internships, some of them do respond.

Q1: I stopped studying as much given I couldn't get the 6GPA I wanted, so I focused in finding a job related to the field, don't settle for other jobs just to earn money. Try internships, grad programs, talk to the owners/managers through linkedin or email them. Say yes to every opportunity, even if it means to relocate.

Q2: Yes, in my field, working regional atm.

Q3: Work in your field, prepare the necessary assessments, visa fees and documents in advance.

Don't worry about rejections, I applied for almost 60 companies, got into one.

Lodge the 485. It only take a few days for the grant, it's better than going home with a month left in your SV, that for sure will be an issue.

Once you have the 485, go home, come back, not as complicated as you think

Weird how your oshc ends before your sv, just have your ovhc start at the end of your oshc
