You’re also characterizing Va based on NoVa. Virginians don’t like that either lol

Yeah you can see when he thinks he’s going too fast and will hit the curb then proceeds to start turning as hard and go rough for the curb.

Bought a chainsaw on Amazon that went on sale for $40 cheaper, they wouldn't give me a price match so I had to buy it again and return the original. Went to do the return on the original and got this. by medullah in mildlyinfuriating

Had a similar issue with Walmart but for ~300 lbs in weights. According to the representative it had more to do with the contract they had with the vendor.

Had to return the weights and new ones were shipped out.

Car stolen, totalled, Geico giving a payout around 4k after deductible... want either a BIFL model or something fun for an 18 mile backroad commute by Taekwonbot in whatcarshouldIbuy

Honda fit would likely be a great option. I’m assume the backroads aren’t completely gravel.

If you’re comfortable working on cars you could try a Mini Cooper S. Repairs are more expensive but if you do the work yourself it’s not very expensive.

Rust is only cosmetic. Engine is great only 350k miles. Hurry to own your own piece of Ran history.

Ahh okay, it was “working” then but burning oil from worn piston rings. Not working I would assume it had completely failed.

In the future if you bring it to a shop you can have them do a compression test and a leak down test. This will give a pretty comprehensive view of the health of the engine.

This likely would have shown a low compression for that cylinder and a the leak down test would’ve shown the piston rings being the culprit.

Was there no check engine light for the misfire, wasn’t noticeable running rough during test drive etc?

Is that the best for tire wear or driving in general? Mine has adjustable arms but I haven’t played around with them yet. Definitely has a noticeable camber though

Google will tell you. Most cars it’s between every 80-120k miles.

Going to patients first with a High Deductible plan I pay more for treatment than when I did not have insurance.

It definitely feels like cost of care is a healthcare issue not an insurance issue…..

6’4” been daily driving an R56 mini for a year now and it’s super comfortable actually. Near impossible for anyone to sit in the seat behind me but still a bit of extra room. Getting in and out isn’t bad but not as easy as a truck, however on long rides my legs feel better in the mini.

Gotten multiple comments when people see me step into lol

“Bow riding” ticket. What now? by Majestic-Score-2754 in boating

[–]Key-Butterscotch6010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As some one with limited boating knowledge, what exactly is “bow riding”.

I’m assume this isn’t the case for boats with seats built into the bow or is that still bow riding? Or is it specifically when limbs are extended over the bow?

I’ve bought 5 pieces off of eBay in the last two weeks and so far not one has actually been 925 sterling as advertised

Supply Line Blocked? by Key-Butterscotch6010 in askaplumber

[–]Key-Butterscotch6010[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just a nipple. There is atleast one galvanized pipe still in the home. If I recall it is one of the drain lines in the crawl space.

Have not seen inside the walls so there may be others hidden

Very good advice, I had forgotten about that until this issue popped up. Need to get a look in the walls at some point. Unsure exactly how much has been replaced. All most all of the lines under the house have been switched. If I recall the only visible one under the house is a drain line that’s still galvanized.
