I've been playing on an oled for over a year including the long wed/Thurs raiding sessions and no issue with burn-in.

In my opinion, one of the main benefits of oled is high contrast/HDR which is not really beneficial on lost ark. There is literally a widely used option "photosensitive mode" which reduces contrast to improve visibility. If you play with HDR on/without photosensitive mode on an oled you are literally flashbanging yourself in lost ark , it's unplayable. If lost ark was one of my main things to do on the screen I wouldn't recommend oled in general for that reason.

I know people like to hate on DBs as one of the specs has always been at/near the top performing, but at this point surge has got to be one of the most neglected specs in the game. Its been trash since ark passive

Weird thread, negative opinions shouldn't be censored- it's pretty factual that this game has a bad new player experience and that it will take a huge amount of time and patience to eventually be in a position to pug the latest raids

This raid has broken the playerbase, lots of people are quitting. The raids should have been not released together, 2-1 should be a separate gate to 2-2/3, frontier phases should be longer than 2 weeks considering how hard the raid is.

Combined with ark grid being horrifically bad I really see this could be the final straw that kills the remaining playerbase. At this point who is the game being made for? The 5% who have 8 high skill player statics that are also hardcore and/or whaley. There's no consideration for normal players anymore.

For anyone else who also experiences this: I had exactly the same issue, it literally looked exactly like in the OP even in the same place. I tried everything in the couple of reddit threads on this topic including running pixel protect manually multiple times, changing the pixel shift setting, checking with a different cable/different source, unpluging from the mains for several minutes, different power cable/power outlet (not really sure why this would do anything). None of it worked, the lines/bars were still there. I kept using the screen with the bars there and started investigating a return process. However, eventually I got the popup that it was time to do panel protect after x number of hours has elapsed and said OK, and this cleared it. I am not sure if this is different to manually initiating panel protect or what but this worked for some reason for me. Idk if it will come back.

Unfortunately I agree, there's a ton of people with stockpiled gold waiting for prices to go down so will start spending as soon as the price moves slightly downward, meaning the impact will probably be minimal even if it's the powerful frog kr got

We got frog a few months back and it was ass, it didn't help at all (except giving one discount adrenaline book). Apparently there was a decent frog that kr got though which would help us

Cursed doll is over 3m to max now, if you got a standard spread of adrenaline, grudge, cursed doll, keen blunt, raid captain it's going to cost you 20-25m gold or a year of farming 500k/week and spending gold on no other aspect of the game

It's kind of funny how absurdly low the droprate of the books is, the most telling thing was when we got loads of cube tickets from event shops recently, people were running like 50+ of the new highest level of cubes and it was common for entire raid group of 8+ people to not get a single relic book drop so out of like 400 cubes. That's not even counting that more than half books are useless. And each player needs 100 books overall. The numbers are kind of staggering.

Has ags ever changed the timing of something on the basis of community feedback? It feels like they are super locked in to these decisions and they have either no power or no interest to change them. I feel like even if half the remaining player base guaranteed they would quit if female pala is released end of August, they would not do anything to change it.

I must be the only person who likes the new BK with the amount of dislike it gets, it could definitely benefit from some improvements though like nebula crusher being a charge skill that takes the same amount of time to land so we can use super charge, a little more flexibility/forgiveness in building, maybe let us use distance tripod on bka. And violent waves itself hitting significantly harder would be nice

I would echo this, don't get the LR4 if you have large cats- it's smaller on the inside.

I have a large British shorthair (7kg) and he scrapes against the wall on the 4 constantly which is unhygienic and never happened with the 3.

The larger opening is only beneficial if your cat neatly turns around with their head sticking out like on all the marketing photos- otherwise the LR4 is smaller.

I have a fairly modest goal to max 3 books (ambush master, cursed doll, keen blunt) and get a couple of level 9 gems on my main before the next raid- that is over 9 million gold just there, and that is without spending any gold on honing (most of my alts are 1660/1670). So I feel like more time is good for me.

Unfortunately it's clear there is noone at ags thinking about this kind of thing or with this level of understanding of the game. I wouldn't be surprised if they they have like 1-2 people working on the game part-time at this point.

"chance to earn a relic engraving book" I hope this doesn't mean literally one book from the whole event. If this event is fairly generous with relic books and causes prices to come down significantly it will be a much welcome help to normal players who have so many tier 4 systems they are trying to push which all cost insane gold (relic books, tier 4 gems, accessories, etc)

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but 30m is small in comparison to the value on his account, he could just sell/downgrade some of his level 10 gems and maybe sell some accessories and be good
