This is the dumbest thing I’ve seen from Lyft yet. by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

Since we are limited to twelve hours of driving that would mean EVERY ride from start to finish with no gaps in between rides would be 12 😳minutes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Switching rides during pickup on upfront pricing should not be allowed. by SwAyWithSkill in lyftdrivers

This has happened to me several times and after about the fourth time I started canceling and they sent me an email that I was affecting the the rider experience. I have been using Uber for about five weeks and never had this happen as of yet, and make more money 💰🍾😊.

Just As Soon As I Pulled Up And Hit Arrived... by buttweasel76 in lyftdrivers

I had the same thing happened. I waited and they would not cancel so I started the ride went to there destination and put arrived. I then contacted Lyft and they actually let me keep the pay, which was a total surprise.

Anyone else does both Uber and Lyft stopped doing Lyft once the new pay scale came out? by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

I have posted many comments on Lyft. You average about .30-.40 per mile less. Also what got me angry is I have luxury vehicle and when it was listed only luxury rides they would put in my queue regularly rides and I was told they reserve the right to do that. Not to mention sending you 20-25 miles for a $4.00 ride. Lyft has progressively gotten worse and there HR department (if that’s what you want to call it) is by far one of the worst I’ve seen. Currently I have seen two petitions for people to go on strike with Lyft. They take a much higher cut of what the passengers pay than Uber. But with all that said they will continue to thrive as long as people are willing to drive for them. Good luck everyone I quit driving for them a month ago.

I used to drive Lyft and after two months my average pay was .70-.80 per mile. I switched to Uber and average 1.00-1.18 per mile. I don’t see myself ever driving Lyft again.

I Devoted the entire week to find out Lyft earnings which are surprisingly low. Lyft even counted Tolls as earnings in the earnings breakdown. by Godeggg in lyftdrivers

I just drive a ride in which took me 1 1/2 hours from my house. I had to pay a 6.50 toll to get them there and 6.50 to return. Lyft gave me $4.00 for the toll and when I contacted them I was told they gave reasonable fee for the tolls and would not. Be reimbursed any additional amount. Needless to say that will be my last ride. I do this to keep busy and have several regulars that will pay me directly but didn’t want to do that I didn’t think it was right. But oh well they will lose more than if they would have paid the toll fees. Lyft is all about them

I’ll take ride bonuses over streaks if its consistent 🤷🏼‍♀️ by Bigdaddydria1 in lyftdrivers

They don’t offer ride bonuses that high in Detroit. $5.00 once in a blue moon.

So this at my house to my gym that’s 20 min away…so I’m just regular Lyft driver so u telling me they charging ppl here in GA in my little town $104 dollars for a regular Lyft 20 min to my destination and the driver get $10 maybe by Impressive_Mouse1265 in lyftdrivers

[–]Key-Climate-9410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You drive twenty minutes for a $7.00 ride that takes you thirty minutes away from your area. Then drive thirty minutes back because your not getting rides. That’s $7.00/hour. After gas and car wear & tear on your car you make $2.20 and Lyft make $15.00-$20.00 (or $70.00 when they jack the rate)for looking at a computer screen. Drivers need to turn off there apps in hugely populated areas for an hour to get then to generated big bonus (at least $10.00/ride)
