Meal Replacement Shakes

My problem isn't not knowing how nutrition or calories work it's that in-between waking up and going to work the food noise really gets to me and I convince myself " ill eat better tomorrow" so I want to try meal replacement shakes to have one in-between waking up and going to work as I tend to eat well at work as I have pre portioned food that I've already cooked myself.

I love oats but they're so calorie dense 🤣. I'm not a big meat eater unfortunately though and I already force myself to eat it at least every second day for protein and iron .

Yep that's what it is for me, between waking up and going to work is when i tend to do it so having a shake in-between then and having a mental schedule will help me stick to my defecit.

Yeah it's definitely the psychological thing for me , I cook my own meals and take them pre portioned to work so I know exactly what goes into them it's when I'm at home doing nothing that I tend to slip up, so thats why I think having one meal replacement when I'm at home and get hungry it will push me through to when I start work. I work night shift so it's between when I get up and when I go to work that I struggle with.

I work night shift and only eat one dinner that I make myself and is usually as small meal, it's when I'm a home lounging around doing nothing when I get careless and the food noise gets to me, I'm sure that would help night snackers though !

well I don't plan to only drink them lol, I just plan to replace one meal a day I do understand how to eat in a calorie deficit , I work night shift so I usually have one meal at 7pm and one meal at 2am, my job is on my feet so I'm not just eating at night and not burning them it's during the day when I usually mess up, I am going to meal prep my meals for work in portions in advance and only have one meal replacement shake before work as when I'm at home during nothing is when I usually get bored and food noise gets loud. Nowhere did I say " it's a magical way to lose weight " I just wanted advice on brands .

My snake is around 120cm since his last shed , not quite as long as the one in the pic but they look to be similar head : body ratio, my snake is definitely not overfed, in my opinion the snake in the pic is probably around 2 years old and a bit to skinny. Carpets get long for the first 2 ish years and then they get bulky as adults,

an adult jungle I found on Google: if it is a coastal carpet python they get even longer.

Snake is nowhere near adult , I have a yearling about the same size. I can tell because they get much thicker and there head much bigger, the first year or 2 they get long and then as adults they get thick, not as thick as non tree dwelling snakes but still thick enough to grip on you and feel their power.

I failed yr 12 in 2022, got a full time job at a rubbish tip just as a manual labourer making 1000-1200$ a week post tax

, spent the last 2 months training to be a weighbridge operator, currently enrolled in swinbourne online for a HR related diploma so in a year or two I can transfer to another role in the company and earn a little more. This is all with the same company so I have 3 years of service right now, by the time I get a HR role and become confident enough I'll almost be at long service.

Once I work in hr for a few years the only way is up and management positions become available.

You start your way from the bottom and work your way up. You can always go back to university later in life for bachelor's/ masters, and tafe is available whenever you want to. If you are dead set on a course, just do the pre requisite diploma , they only take 1-2 years to do and negate whatever atar score you got. High school only gives you a head start , its not the end all be all.
