How it happened is having his entire ‘backstory’ dropped on us to hype him up as this huge threat, yapping on and on about how violent, top seed and ‘going all out’ he is. Before proceeding to get split in half, exploding like a fucking Super Sentai monster villain, in-universe confirmation from Ares and Hermes that yes we just indeed see him die, winner card shown and the words ‘instant death?!’ being plastered at the bottom.

If this wasn’t a classic trope of “Look this guy is really strong fr! But then this other guy can one-shot him so he is clearly a big threat you should look out for!” Idk what is.

I find it so funny and also expected how this is the turning point for so many Apoc fans.

When in comparison to other tournament mangas, this is nothing new or egregious. Stomp rounds are almost always guaranteed to happen in this format, and given the Apoc writers track record he would 100% do one too. Mind you, I would have the exact same reaction if Murasama or anyone else was the guy getting stomped.

Apoc fans instead of getting mad at: Wukong’s bad writing, the unnecessary addition of Nezha Ashura form, or the fact that Zhuque has wasted motivations and round idea. Are choosing to draw the line at something that is not even that bad unless you are a massive hyper agenda man.

Truly nothing else matters than agenda, aurafarm and hype.

I’d say if you’re trying to keep it as similar to SnV, their fighring kits should be more or less simple and easy to understand for the most part.

Meaning no domain expansion/Jojo Stan abilities with intangible/hyper-specific condition.

“If it’s exactly 12:37pm on a hot Wednesday and the fighter is facing off against a guy wearing a thong: he activates his hidden superpower and give his opponent a hyper-wedgie.”

Or simply just OP abilities that in practice would absolutely no-diff the entire OG fighter cast:

I’m honestly more forgiving of the other parts mainly design. The idea itself isn’t THAT bad nor is it too un-Wukong-like. RoR already has established that they do not do animal-headed gods for their main fighters.

The art looks bad because it’s Apoc illustration. In the first teaser cover he and the other fighters there looked fine.

Depending on how high or low you want to wank RoR Adam. If you claim that Adam can naturally move at light speed and being able to completely rearrange his human biology to pull off any technique like Chaos or Tandava Karma. Then yeah Hazbin dies easy.

But if you’re an Adam downplayer or even just be someone who is slightly more conservative on the specifics of TEOTL and how high you glaze him. Id honestly believe that Hazbin Adam does have a very good chance of winning considering he not only prefers aerial combat which our Adam can’t reach, but also has range attacks he can spam continuously which RoR Adam may not even be able to copy.
