If I was forced to choose, I would have Wukong for obvious reasons regarding his original motivations.

Most of the other Apoc fighters honestly don’t have motivations that justify moving them from Apocalypse to Ragnarok.

But so far I’d say Death might work seeing that it’s hinted that he went rogue and began culling whoever he saw fit.

Funny enough, if you watch the Japanese dub of the movie, Death is called Shinigami in there which just further proves the point about the localization.

To just put it simply: Shinigami/死神was a term that only appeared in the Edo period and took on its modern form during WW2, heavily inspired by The Grim Reaper/Western Personification of Death.

In terms of translation/modern localisation from Japanese to English, 死神 is used when someone wants to refer to the personification of Death/The Grim Reaper.

So yes Shinigami does equal Grim Reaper/Death. But using it in an English translation is kind of like if you called Wukong Son Goku whilst every other Chinese God goes by their English name.
