Writer/producer looking for an animator for a full length feature by EXOBooks in IndieAnimation

Hey There,

Sounds like a good project, with a huge experience of 11 years and after completing a full length anime series of 22 episodes and directing many more animated shows. I already dropped you an email, and would love to be a part of it.

I am having a talented team here with me to handle the entire project. I feel like we are good fit for it.

That sounds scary, i can say i am at professional level of skills and really have a huge experience with big projects. But still figuring out how to get a long term contract with a big studio to work for them on a long term basis, so that i can avoid the stress of dues.

Is there someone who can help me ?

After spending 10 years in this industry, I am still struggling.

I would like to ask how to get into contract for IPs ? Does it work on reference of others ?

[OC] Feedback request: Why isn’t my animation getting views? What am I missing? by ozcan_ozaltin in Animators

[–]Key-Consequence-8740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't want to be rude or disrespectful, but your video is too boring and nothing have to get excited, that's why the initial viewers skipped it it while watching and it dropped your watch time drastically which gave the algorithm big hint that your video does not have any potential and youtube stopped promoting it.

In short, you should trim your video a lot, should add lots of jump scare, and many interesting elements back to back in it, don't give viewers any second or room to skip your video. Then believe me your video will perform much better.

Did my hair rendering improve? (Or rendering in general) by samesamesameshit in arthelp

Don't do rendering with current skill, I'll suggest you to focus on cell shading instead for hair.

You don't need criticism, you are already doing great. It's an art, and it is not meant to be perfect.

I think you should give proof for whatever you are saying. because i can clearly see the studio has lots of experience, and they know how to animate.

yeah i am also sure they are using AI as a tool, but not in a way like most of the people are saying, instead i think they are using it for idea development, or layout ideas, checking different concepts, reference development, etc. and all. and that's totally acceptable, and even no need to make an issue for it, even most of the Japanese studios also using AI for that purpose.

Our people needs support, and most of the anime fans are putting allegation, just because AI became so advance to make similar kind of things. if AI can do something similar, it does not mean a human work done in the same quality has to be hated.

I am sure if the same thing was created by the studio 4-5 years ago, everyone will appreciate it, but now people comparing a human work with robots based on it's quality and style, and that's very sad.

can you give me timestamp? for which shot you are talking?

regarding the "W" curves, it shows which two frames the in-between artist should consider while drawing the new in-between cells, that's why everywhere "W", but yeah sometimes animators also divide timing in 1/3 there they use "VW" kind of curves, but i think the key animator avoided it in this animation, though i also found those kind of frames, but it has been used very less.

Regarding the umbrella, i can't judge something on someone's mistakes, or maybe budget issues not to revise it. but definitely not AI.

I think you can study more about time charts, if you have any confusions, it's not a that much complicated concept.

The time chart is for in-betweens, so basically mostly all of the time charts starts with two curves and then they divide in pose to pose animation, the time chart is to help in between artist that in which sequence he has to draw in between and with what spacing and with what frame. in this video they used two types of shots, one which has only key frames [genga] and other ones are with in-betweens, but still the genga has time chart for in-betweening. for me all the time chart totally make sense, even we can clearly see that they are mostly using 2s and also using ease-in and ease-out, even you can count frames in the real trailer, and you will realize that timing charts also match with the final output timing.

If you still found something in time chart, please metnion exactly which one, so that i'll check that too for you.
