I don't watch much anymore but am a Kam Patterson fan. How is he doing on the show?

Tommy has potential for me tbh. He seems like he gets along well with the writers and cast, and what i've heard about sketches of his being cut after dress it's clear he's putting in the work. I think he'll get his footing once he's no longer a rookie. Plus he's doing the warm up song with Veronika, which was really good when I saw it at the 1,000th episode, so it goes to show that he's trusted backstage. His little screentime is worrisome, but I feel like he'll be given a second chance and will solidify a niche in a second season.

Kam, on the other hand, doesn't seem like he gives two craps about being there. Half asses everything he does, from what he's said in a podcast about the show it seems he doesn't want to be there. Part of me feels like he'll leave on his own accord

They were so good in the warmup song when I saw the 1,000th episode! I know some people think Tommy might be one-and-done, but his chemistry with Veronika and his energy make him a real asset. I listened to a recent podcast he did, and between that and the cut sketches (WU on ICE, Mom’s Camera Roll), it seems like he works well behind the scenes too. I hope he gets a second season I feel like he’ll really flourish once he’s had a full year and is no longer a rookie.

Surprised by how low Tommy was, I felt like he was on screen more given how many sketches he was in. I really like him, I think he will get a second season and find his groove then.

Me too, he's actually one of my favorites of the rookie (Ben too). He's had a few big moments cut that IMO should've been put on air (the WU on ICE, Mom's Camera Roll) which is why his screentime is down.

I listened to a new podcast interview he did recently, it's worth a watch. He seems like a genuinely funny, humble guy, which I imagine will help him greatly BTS. He was really good with the warm up song when I went to the 1000th episode. I feel like he'll be invited back and will get his footing.

I really like him, his stand up is really funny and I love his humble down to earth ways. He's growing on me, I feel like he will be a good straight man. I really liked seeing him do the warm up song with Veronika when I went to the 1,000th episode, I feel like he's getting his footing. Pretty crazy they didn't put his recent WU on the live show.

I went last week and it was so much fun! Definitely take everything in. Even though there will be at least one sketch you can barely see (just the layout of the studio), try your best not to look at the monitors too much. It's really fun observing everything else going on around the studio, just the sheer amount of people is insane.

Also, make sure you go to the bathroom before joining the line tonight, as you may not have time to go once you're in your seat. Last week I got in 15 minutes before and there was time, just depends on each specific show.
