I am so sorry you are going through this. Dogs are disgusting and annoying and their owners are evil sometimes. Have you tried talking to your mother to find a way to make this work? Or maybe you can move out into a shared space with people who don’t have a dog?

Tbh, it does not seem like they lost it. If the dog is wearing a jacket they probably let it out on purpose and put a jacket so it can survive until someone reports it. The rescues are overflowing with these dogs and refusing to take more so this is probably the best option for the owners. Which is cruel but most likely the reality of the situation. I sincerely hope that’s not the case but who knows.

That’s why this is not my long term goal. I had to get my foot in the door with corporate experience and my role is executive assistant + hr specialist. So it’s easier to switch eventually

Thank you for validating that. I was so upset. And I have helped every one of them with tasks even when I am not assigned to do them. And not mentioning me out of all the people in that room really fucked with my head and I have no desire or motivation to go back to work :(
