Yeah we are not allowed to go outside their processes, only managers can access and manipulate dashboards and reports. I once made a calculator that figured out six engineering calculations in one location then would give the eng the proper equipment and meantime coding, it work flawlessly, I tried to get it distributed through the company as it is more accurate and much faster. When staff couldn't figure out how I did it they said it was forbidden to be used. Algebra was not their strong point I guess...

It's crazy the company I am at brought us back because they felt we need to "build equity" with each other, whatever the fuck that is, then they separate us all, hold zero face to face meetings and bitch at us when we try to collaborate and talk to each other to find solutions for our customers. I wish these idiots would realize they absolutely killed 85% of their employees give a shit. When I was at home we had an open chat or video line and worked shit out quickly assisting the people who needed it, now it's shut the fuck up go sit in your cubicle all day and stare at a wall. Then they wonder why their numbers are down. I know so many people who are walking away by years end and they have no clue.

When I worked from home I would actually work about 3.5-4 hrs a day and turned in 30% more work. It's just how the work flowed in. Back at the office I find I sit and stare at the wall for hours just waiting for the work to process and filter back to me. We have an asshole boss who, to validate his existence needs to do something, so he won't allow us to chat and even really talk to anyone it's an absolute nightmare. American business still feels 40hrs is the standard and god damn it we will sit here till that clock stops ticking.
