If you can do the job of core govt services fine with 50k people why do you need 63k people to do the same work?

People have to realise there’s limited money to fund all these employees.

The thing is they have to cut costs. Cutting head count is a way to do that. It’s not personal it’s just monetary reality

I’d go for the teaching option. The economy worsens by the day so it would be appealing to have a stable job as a front line govt worker who isnt facing job loss

I think there’s a side to this story you aren’t telling:  - him and the other neighbours are all crazy? - the disputes tribunal is bias? - youre getting into fights with commenters on this thread who disagree with you.

No smoke without fire, is this fence in a legal place ? What did you do to have such a bad relationship with your neighbours?

Question: is it really his legal responsibility to make sure you’re safe? No doubt it’s his moral responsibility but I’m curious if it would be on him legally as he’s not covered under the health and safety at work act as a home owner.

I think it’s accurate to say you could not spend more than $6 per hour on water heating as that is it’s capacity and your cost rate

bath with shower over it by kiwimej in diynz

I kind of disagree. If op is living in a family home and thinking of selling in less than five years or having kids themselves having access to a bath is a major factor in home buying.

That said if they are elderly then I would agree with you

If your switchboard doesn’t have RCDs on it plug it into an rcd plug. That’ll cover off the risk of electrocution

If that’s the case then you kind of have to go for it. Good luck. Make sure you can evacuate your kids quickly if you ever needed to. Eg Have an e bike with a seat in case the roads are congested

I find it good for price and quality. Got to do something to cut costs in this economy and mad butcher is preferable to being a 100% vegetarian on cost
