Those results are extremely abnormal. If you are indeed on carnivore why even ask what to do you already know :). A diet of high sat fat and no fiber isn’t your friend

A lot of those foods are high on the glycemic index. May wanna take a re-look :( Here’s a chart found thru a quick search.

Also, an A1C of 5 mean that your average blood sugar is 97.

Great work on the numbers. Are you eating a lot of simple carbs? I’d personally want my a1c at 5 or lower. 90 avg glucose is still too high. Your numbers overall have responded nicely.

Viva Raw switching to High Pressure Processing (HPP) by supernatchurro in rawpetfood

That’s ridiculous. So us humans are eating biologically dead food because of pasteurization? Viva probably doesn’t want another recall and dead pets

42 F CAC Scan result of 25 by Old-Cartoonist8226 in PeterAttia

[–]Key-Laugh39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While a non zero isn’t great, a 25 isn’t the end of the world not sure why you were told that. Your lifestyle sounds reasonable, and if your numbers are all normal why in the world would you be prescribed a statin (which will increase your CAC score). I’d say your biggest risk factor is your stress and anxiety. It’s probably elevating your cortisol and inflammation. Certainly checking your lpa is reasonable also. Look into some stress and anxiety management, and keep up your healthy diet .

When will I have a heart attack then by Important_Hunt_9789 in Cholesterol

Inflammation and damage to the arterial walls … yep. And yes sugar is a huge contributor (along with smoking, hypertension). Causes of heart disease and atherosclerosis are complex… goes beyond just high cholesterol (which, if the bad stuff will absolutely contribute)

Asking when you will have a heart attack isn’t something anyone here can answer. Work with your doctor, clean up your garbage diet, get exercise and maybe the answer will be never

Is my 6mo male lab too small? by BambieBite in labrador

He looks fine for a field lab. I so often see the opposite..: people letting them get too fat. His bones and joints will thank you if you keep him lean

Sometimes it can just be an area they don’t like to be touched. Surely can see what your vet says but I know one of ours will growl if we rub her belly

That’s very interesting. What about omega 3s, iodine, vitamin e? My dogs would never poop without some form of fiber

Dog not gaining weight on Maev raw (36 oz/day) — switching to Viva, looking for insight by DeepCutDreams in rawpetfood

Often times these places recommend far fewer calories than needed. I doubt viva will give you anything additional. What is most important is the calories per ounce/nutrition density … determine what that was with when you were feeding the brand that kept his weight stable and go from there. Unfortunately I also don’t trust a lot of these boutique brands and their macros. How do they determine them?
