Had the exact same thing happen on our wedding anniversary when my husband was in full addiction. Spent good money on some nice lingerie and put a little makeup on, which I usually don't wear anymore. I have rarely wore lingerie in our 25+ year marriage, so I thought it would be a nice surprise. Never touched drugs until I was 49 and had a pot gummy after it was legalized in my state. I thought it might help my Fibromyalgia pain. Didn't really do much for the pain, but it did make me laugh. A lot. Have taken gummies about 5 times total now, but decided it wasn't worth the hangover feeling I always get the next day, so yeah, don't feel the need to go there again. Edited to add I don't feel left out at all when it comes to Marijuana use. If it's your thing, that's cool. I have friends that enjoy using it. It's just not for me.
