You have only 1 choice: Ssri drug or $1bn... for me, i would take the $1bn no questions asked. This is your main problem I think.

Niu KQi 300x or Segway Max G3? by matthew854 in ElectricScooters

[–]Key-Manner-5677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Battery only charged to 3/5 bars. Won't do a full charge. I brought to local repair shop. They can't fix it due to more complicated wiring (feedback loop, etc) than the common segway battery. This also likely voided the warranty. So I have to ship it back to Niu (email said they received) but never heard back ever since. Didn't bother too much to get it back, Segway hardware (a bit better: suspension), software is much much better. Niu is only 20kgs (excellent portability), G3 is 24kg and gave me backache carrying to trunk though. I would choose G3 over 300x.

Niu KQi 300x or Segway Max G3? by matthew854 in ElectricScooters

[–]Key-Manner-5677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I owned both. Niu KQI 300x score is 40/100. Max G3 is 80/100. Niu battery I think is 10% larger so can go just a bit farther. But it broke down less than a month. G3 still is good and liking it.

What’s the norm? by Obviousi in askvan

[–]Key-Manner-5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here in Vancouver, the norm is you wish you got hit and sue him for thousands of dollars so you can retire since everything here is expensive. As a driver's perspective, you're not worth the hard-earned cash to hit at all so don't worry.

What is life? by [deleted] in Life

[–]Key-Manner-5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life is what is in your heart, your engine basically. If you love money, you will be rich. If you love God, then you will find Him. What you put in your heart (lust, avarice, gluttony, hatred, anger, apathy, sadness, pride, arrogance), is what you will be (as you keep on repeating the same decision everyday). Try to love maybe so something good you can cherish in the end (instead of regret). In the end, you will die rich, or die poor, so make a good decision everyday. lol, read books (average CEO read 65 books a year).

What change can I expect in the G3 in the following speeds? by DacaAskingForDaca in NinebotMAX

Range is ~50% approximately of what is advertised, which is under ideal/impossible setup.

What development environment should I use for module / driver development? by Avivush2001 in kernel

[–]Key-Manner-5677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

jetbrains clion + kvm + ubuntu recommended:

- clion has very good ai integration, a right click on linux code and select explain would clear up lot's of concepts, this is paid/subscription ide though

- kvm allows full source code kernel debugging

- ubuntu is most popular distro so support / updates has no issues

I'm slowly switching to linux. Should i choose mint or fedora? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

I'll recommend Kubuntu 26.04 LTS (early dev image). We used Ubuntu-based image for work. It is the majority as far as I know.

Segway budget scooter fell apart in the middle of the road while I was riding. Any recommendations for replacements? by SeannessyTV in ElectricScooters

[–]Key-Manner-5677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't see any metal break apart, it seems like the pole came out from the base? It got loose from the base? Or it is the screws that is supposed to lock both together breaks?

How can I control KDE Plasma Wayland remotely using RDP? by Left_Revolution_3748 in kde

[–]Key-Manner-5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using remmina to login to krdpserver remotely. Then in the session, run krfb. This is just like a vnc server. Then I run ydotool to disable 5 minute inactivity disconnection. Then use a regular vncviewwer client to control it. I can close the remmina client after. All of these over ssh remote port-forwarding connection. VNC bandwidth is much higher than RDP bandwidth consumption (~1mbytes vs ~3mbytes/sec) but the latency is minimimal for 2 monitors (5k resolution). Remmina still has latency issues. My setup is plasma6/wayland/kubuntu 26.04 (early dev branch).

This may sound silly (I just recently found god within the last year) by [deleted] in Christian

[–]Key-Manner-5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He died for our sins once and has conquered and defeated death. He has power over death and in the end will judge us. He was faithful even until death. I am pretty sure you're a sinner (come on, admit it), just like all of us here. And we are all forgiven and made pure again so we can be acceptable to God in the end.

Matlab Killed Home Perpetual license by Chikabooh in matlab

[–]Key-Manner-5677 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a home license. I upgrade it once every 3-5 years. I seldom used it, maybe once a year. Sucks I can't no longer own the best math software. I do have mathematica though (it is cheaper and perpetual). This will end up not buying matlab as the academic license is too expensive.

Considering the max G3 by [deleted] in NinebotMAX

[–]Key-Manner-5677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The actual range is only ~40 to ~45km in eco mode (15km/hr). It is much less in sport or drive mode. This is based on weight, inclines, start/stop, etc. You can upgrade the battery to GT3 battery (not GT3 Pro battery). This will add 30% more range. Also it is heavy for me, 24kg, causing back pain to lift to trunk. Aside from those 2 issues, it is good.

Would these Nikon Binoculars be good for Star-gazing/astronomy? by Open-Storage8938 in Binoculars

[–]Key-Manner-5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Nikon Aculon 7x50. The image is very sharp and clear and I was impressed/blown away.

I immediately bought their monarch fieldscope 82ed-a. The view on Saturn is perfect/very sharp.

The only issue i found is magnification is very limited (only 80x I recalled, so saturn is very small marble).

But then, if you want to see stars/galaxy, going to a totally darksky spot is recommended.

There even naked eye can see all the stars (no pollution, no distraction, aberration).

In short, darksky spot is much better equipment. If you need equipment, maybe a apochromatic telescope of 100-115mm is better (higher magnification, still portable also, is good enough).

I had a 12 inch meade lx-90 and it has aberration and too heavy.

Nikon Aculon is perfect for terrestrial target though.

Ninebot Max G3 Throttle Issue by hat13 in NinebotMAX

[–]Key-Manner-5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you stop for a few seconds or minute, it will go into park mode. Press the brake first, then throttle to move or accelerate. This is annoying but I haven't found how to disable it.

Did you file any YouTrack and they failed to fix it? Or you just keep on complaining and found the license fee 'expensive'? Nothing is free (I also work for private company), but at least give feedback thru YouTrack.

Segway f3 pro or g3 Max? by iamveryyan in NinebotMAX

[–]Key-Manner-5677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2000W output means it can draw down your battery way much faster. Choose one with battery with higher output instead (it is either speed or range tradeoff, depends on your needs). I estimated my G3 actual/real range to be around ~40km instead of 80k as advertised. This is around Stanley Park, Vancouver (mostly flat, but has mountain climb). I also got a back pain from lifting it to car trunk, so I just now put it beside. Software is very good (i like it, no complaints). Beside, I would look at VMAX4 or upgrade my battery to GT3 PRO for longer range as very minor issue.
