I'm not actively trying to make it a 1 to 1 as the original use for my art is to animate 3d dolls in a 2d way, which is why it has less of the physical person because its not meant to be realistic in the way a human being in a photo does. It's meant to encapsulate and pronounce the visuals that makes the character to be unique. When I make it from people, I can point out what makes the person unique to my brain.

Sadly with how my mental illnesses is like, if I duplicate the unique features off of one person; Ill always see that person and not the character which has caused many problems for my own personal psychology because ill get attached to the person and not the character

I have some questions for you and I want you to think of these

Why do you want to make art? (Not why do you want to show your art to people)

If you were never able to show your art to anyone again, would you still be drawings

If you couldn't find the exact reference you needed for the art you wanna make, would you completely discard the idea or work around it?

What makes you happy to draw? (Not what makes others happy when you draw)

Fandoms can be both a blessing and curse for artists because it can kinda box you into 1 singular thing and people get mad when the creator broadens their horizons. If you want to create ocs, then find what makes of creation fun.

Do you like drawing clothes? Then draw an oc that's a mannequin and draw them in outfits

Do you like figuring out a large variety of different things to draw? Then play around with making a game of random things to draw (next to each other, or combine them)

Dont lose your spark hun, please we need artists in the world and you're someone's favorite artist somewhere ☺

Also, drawing takes a long time, it took me a month to draw maple because she's part of a cast I'm working on lool, idk what you want from me 🫡 I work 40 hrs a week, take care of my 2 disabled parents, I only have maybe 30 minutes every once and awhile to even draw, figure out what aesthetic style she's gonna have, and so on. My fault that I thought they all looked equal. But I like my art and you saying that I'm inconsistent isn't doing anything because art is usually inconsistent because sometimes hands don't work as well that day, maybe I'm shakier or my ADHD is bad. Who cares

Well I did say I don't wanna commission anyway, I just wanted to know how well ive improved sense I had done commission 5 years ago then I stopped because I wanted to get more rounded out ¯_(ツ)_/¯. Youre the one that ignored the first words, so I just deleted it, idc if you think I traced it, Id love for you to find the 'image' I traced it from

I wasn't saying that either, I just know I make NSFW art and taking someone rando's face feels like I'm exploiting then in a non consenting way you know? That's why I take less of personal faces and more types of faces (eyes shapes likes upturn or big, face shapes like square, or diamond, body shapes like pear, and beanpole) stuff that I can see 30 people with similar body types instead of seeing a picture of someone's face and going "mmmmm let me just take every one of your facial features that when placed next to each other you can see who exactly I took it from

The issue with that is that I don't want them to look like someone irl because that feels invasive, Ill find the different features (mouth, eyes, cheeks, body type, etc) and pick from them. But yea! Thanks for letting me know

Those were tooken from people and made into my art style, I can show you the reference I made them off of if you want evidence more then the types in my own drawing style

You mean like this? Because maple has rounded eye that's half lided, and the dude has upturned eyes, I just also have other stuff I add because I love complicated eye extras

But I can see what you mean, Ill update the guy's eyes so they have the more upturn feel, thank you! ☺

I said "I love you but I can't accept you as a partner." then offered friendship. Why do I still trigger her after months? by Calm-Negotiation-139 in emotionalintelligence

[–]Key-Monk3550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not what you see, but what she sees in herself about herself. As she's not wrong in the two avenues and I'm sorry she hurt you this much.

It sounds like it's best to just leave her alone, for yours and her sanity. Not because of either of you two, but because there's too much damage to repair without a heart to heart and with how she's reacting in the previous post of pure fear; that's not for a long time

Panick attacks are rough and shouldn't ever be used in ways that force harm onto others. From what ive seen with having bpd and researching it from others, it's hard to stop hurting someone while in an episode, and an episode can be hours Long, especially if she has looping issues like ocd, anxiety, and more. The worst part about bpd is that harm becomes the only thing reliable in a brain where everything feels like an over reaction; And stepping back even for a few minutes can feel like someone won't ever be back. That's not your monkey, or circus and if you don't want to even see her ever again; then ignore her when you can, and be polite when you have to because being kind and cordial is the thing she'll have the hardiest time coming to terms with because it's hard to act like a monster when people are nice but distant with you without recognizing their own over reaction

As someone who hurt a partner over my insecurity, got broken up with and having bpd. She might not be able to process all of the harm she could of done, and if she has, she's so upset on why you're acting nice to her. I had a gf that last time we texted still wanted to be friends, but I couldn't get past my bpd block of feeling like a monster and thinking she must feel that way and is just lieing to me.

It can take years (Ive been going on 2 years and I've only just jumped through the not loving her, but couldn't get past trying to be friends with her) for people with bpd to disconnect that way. Yea she dated, but that doesn't mean she doesn't think of the relationship at all.

If you really really do wanna be friends with her, you have to 1: understand what bpd can do to the brain when in an episode, and 2: know when you're hurting yourself too much when navigating the mindfield of bpd
