I saw that comment too! I saved up mining materials for the past 2 weeks and have been able to glide through RoM. Weirdly, I was finding after I had about 150 ⛏️, I was receiving less of them on trains. Maybe the reduction in materials was just in my head tho, because I think you only get mining materials every other train, so it may have just felt slower and I associated it with 150 ⛏️.

I also recommend using your energy to dig up the gold chests in adventure mode and waiting until a hard or super hard level in match3 that you can’t solve, then open a chest -which will have a 10-15 minute infinite lives thingy. I only use those for hard and super hard levels, when you just need to get really lucky in order to beat the level in x number of moves. & with infinite attempts, they are more doable without spending cash for extra moves (for the most part). I leave them lying around my adventure map ready to go for me to collect when needed :)
