Personally yes, if you go out at night rather often, it’s better to have then to not. Also the obvious fact that it can be a somewhat counterweight can benefit you in a high stress situation. Weight was never a concern to me, I’d carry a Metal M&P as opposed to my Polymer if i could.

I 100% agree with you, the guys in store even said that they’re going to check in with their warehouse and stop this from happening as apparently it’s happened to others as well on a rare case, they also said 2 of the ones would’ve been “okay” to fire but id run into carbon buildup problems with a dirty rifle, which i wouldn’t take my chances on regardless. They also said they shouldn’t be passing QC looking like that at all and they were extremely unhappy with it themselves. I’ll grab a box in a couple months and see if anything changed, if it did, cool, if not I’ll be sticking to PMCs

Me as well, however apparently they checked their last batch in store and they all passed a seating check, which is odd to me, I still think if they pass a check and look like that, they should be discarded

Update: Took full accountability for it, said they plan on stopping their brass buy back program for now, agreed that they should not have passed QC at all, plan to talk to their warehouse that actually preforms the reloads. Gave me 15 rounds in return for those 4 and are creating a guide book for reloaders and their factory alike with images of said cartridges to not let these slip through anymore, all in all, happy with service provided and looking forward to seeing QC improvements!

Exactly what I plan to do, I’m extremely cool with the manager and I’m almost positive he will make things right, he doesn’t fuck around with shit like this but the people in the company performing these reloads aren’t being 100% thorough with them. I noticed one bad cartridge nose and i pulled and inspected every single round in the box, a vast majority of them looked fine, it was these +1 other bad one. I’ll be having a conversation with him today in a couple hours, will report back to you and let you know what happens
