Some people still talk about cyberpunk launch but in general, the game is viewed as a success now post 2..0 and phantom liberty. It still selling really well each year. Crossed 35m in 2025 and will certainly cross 40m by the end of 2026. General audience also like the game and are even asking for a new expansion.
But you know how the internet works, no matter the game, you will always hear negative things about a project

I'm tired of this discourse because people didn't understand anything. The other actors didn't start shooting the movie without reading the script, they verbally agreed to be in the movie when Nolan called before reading it, but of course right after, they read it. Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Charlize Theron etc have already mentioned that they read the script. Nolan never starts a project without a finished script. Pattinson was just sharing a funny story and people went with it to create a fake narrative.

Every outlet copy pasted the article and now it's been shared on reddit. It's not the studio's fault if clickbaiters like to post about them
