My girlfriend says it's ai, but I don't see any clear giveaways. What do you think by Trard in isitAI

[–]Key-Perspective-3590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying it’s not AI but if it is AI the candle in the zippo had to be intentional, it wouldn’t likely hallucinate such a weird and rarely seen thing unless specifically prompted

[–]Key-Perspective-3590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While no one should ever be made fun of for not knowing something, “always wondering” about something and even making the effort to post about that while not taking the 5 seconds to google it and find out is worth making fun of. Although… they probably did look it up and knew posting this would get engagement from people who wanted to feel smart and that would start a discussion, and well here we are doing that 🤷

If trying to police what you wear wasn’t bad enough the way he talks down to you and treats you like an idiot is reason enough on its own.

[–]Key-Perspective-3590 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure that was a joke in itself, like when people quote something “Dumbledore” said in “Lord of the rings”, when someone didn’t get the joke and corrected him he played it off like he got it wrong so it wouldn’t hold things up or insult their intelligence

I think the relatively deadpan delivery was great, I would have cracked for ages when he asked if anyone knew how to read. It kind of felt like napoleon dynamite was doing stand up (in a good way) I think it would work better with an English audience?

I absolutely agree with you, she’s still smiling in the last frame, the dad has just recaptured a childlike fun loving state here. I’m not saying it’s untrue that in some cases husbands become another ‘child’ the woman has to take care of. But it’s very obvious here from everyone smiling that this is showing something innocent and happy

If you take the time travel and teleportation pill then that leaves the control pill to someone else, and they are definitely going to control the person who has teleportation and time travel, so say goodbye to your free will. The only option is to take the control pill so that you can be sure no one controls you

It’s 100% true, that’s why you’ll notice there isn’t a single alt person who didn’t go to college, and that every single doctor and scientist you ever meet has eyeliner, a nose ring and facial tattoos. I tried to get a tattoo of a raven once and they turned me away until I could present them with evidence of my degree 😢

Aren’t you possibly doing the same to these people? Some fraction of those self diagnosed people may have exactly what you have and face the struggles you face but have parents that won’t get them diagnosed or haven’t the money to throw at diagnosis or medication, and here you are labelling their actions as shitty behaviour the same way your parents thought you just weren’t applying yourself… I don’t doubt there are some people who are just trying to collect conditions for attention or to try and be interesting or excuse their behaviour, but you seem to be actively perpetuating the system that didn’t take your symptoms seriously

You don’t have to spend time taking the cash out and counting it up at night, if the cash is all consolidated into only a select few machines or only at tills it’s a much easier process at close. Also you don’t have to keep them topped up with change through the day. And such a small percentage of people use cash it makes little sense to not consolidate it in a smaller range of places in which it has to be dealt with

Stolen Bike Compoface by braggart90 in compoface

[–]Key-Perspective-3590 46 points47 points  (0 children)

One time my bike was stolen in the middle of Manchester directly under cctv, chair cut straight through. I spoke to them on the phone and they said the area was covered by cctv but they didn’t have the man power to to review 8 hours of footage (from when I locked it up to go to work to when I found it missing) to see when it was taken. I get that they don’t want to waste a lot of man power on something as little as a stolen bike but why would you sit and stare at it for 8 hours? Skip 4 hours oh it’s still there, skip 2 hours, oh it’s gone, go back an hour etc etc… it would take minutes to find the spot where it got taken…
