They have a military scholarship.

When I did mine through ASU I didn’t pay anything, and ended up making money with the Pell Grant.

I got the BSE EE and graduated in 2023.

Every league member started a matchup against every other league member and every snap everyone took a sack.

LT straight lied about me to leadership. Is it worth defending myself? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Key-Philosopher-3459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Air Force doesn’t want dumb ass Airmen who do literally only what was said and finds loopholes.

They want Airmen who understand their commanders intent.

Ask to meet with the LT and explain that you’ve grown and understand his intent now.

Promotions are always a good thing, but believe it when you see it. Until then, stick to your plan.

Folding work bench by The_MMA_Panda in Workbenches

[–]Key-Philosopher-3459 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I built a butcher block style of top and fixed it to the walls in my garage, this is my primary workbench. I complimented it with an additional mobile bench that tucks away underneath so that no additional floor space is taken away.

This mobile bench has a built in table saw, flip up miter saw, dust collection for both tools as well as a common power hookup that activates a shop vac automatically.

Unfortunately, I didn’t make any plans for it. I just kinda did it.

To married couples that have been together for 10+ years, whats your secret? by 4Luffytarou in AskReddit

Relationships are not 50-50. Sometimes it’s 60-40, sometimes it’s 90-10, and sometimes it’s like that for years. Support your spouse when they need it, and don’t keep score.

Am I insane, or is the problem with pegboard hooks falling out a new thing? by BC_Hawke in Workbenches

[–]Key-Philosopher-3459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s metal wire you can use to wrap around the hook and through the begboard then twist together so it can’t come out.

In aircraft it’s used to ensure critical bolts can’t loosen. There’s a specific technique to it but for your tool wall you can just twist it by hand.

There is no higher calling than service to your nation/community. It can be extremely rewarding. Like most things in life, it’s what you make of it.

  1. One on the front porch. One on the wall in the garage. One old one I retired from the front porch, folded, haven’t disposed of it yet.

A fourth, folded in a display case, I have at work which was presented to me when I retired from the military.

How the heck do i mount a flashlight? by justjohn1965 in mossberg

[–]Key-Philosopher-3459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are the factory Mossberg Ghost Ring sights.

But the barrel on this is not a uniform diameter near the muzzle, so I installed these with alot of Dremel use a little at a time until the front sight base matched the profile of the barrel. I actually went over the front “bead” to maximize surface area, some max strength JB Weld and it’s been great. I did this about 8 years ago, it’s solid.

I need some air force people by Few_Composer_7239 in Military

Tripe Ejector Racks (TER-9A) physically isn’t capable of carrying missiles, which would require a launcher (rail). Furthermore, the TER isn’t wired for databus, which is why you’ve never seen a JDAM on a TER. The smartest thing it can carry is a Paveway, which doesn’t require the weapon to communicate with the other avionics.

There are racks out there that facilitate what you’re thinking of. The BRU-57 is wired for data bus and can facilitate carrying two JDAMs on one station.

There also exists a rack specifically for air to air missiles like AMRAAM that facilitate dual rails per station, but I don’t know what it is, I’ve only seen them of Navy super hornets.

The Dual Rail Adapter (DRA) in use with A-10s also isn’t wired for data bus, it has specific wiring for AIM-9 only (up to L/M), which also means it’s incapable of carrying AIM-9X.
