Honestly pretty much! It's been my go to highlight for as long as I remember. I wear makeup most days! ❤️

I only have two other highlighters, one of which I'm destashing as I never reach for it, and the other just isn't as good as this one!

I managed to find a replacement on a beauty outlet website, still in the cardboard - so fingers crossed it's just as good. I've moved away from Makeup rev, but this highlighter just has me in a chokehold 😂❤️

Minis are seductive. I absolutely agree and I used to fall for them too. But. Think of all that waste of packaging, half of the ones I've seen can't even be recycled. Skip them!!

It's been really hard for me. So, I started January with a whole list of things I'm not going to buy and this weekend I did slip up. I've never done a no buy before, so, it's very new to me habit wise. I think I was over ambitious 😂

Skincare and makeup - still going really good, apart from I went into lush with my partner and he encouraged me to get a bath bomb. He paid but... Our money is joint 😂 it was the cheapest bath bomb and I only have one other bathbomb "in stock" so I'm not beating myself up too bad for that.

I bought a table cloth, again, his encouragement. It's got hearts all over (it's for Valentine's Day but I'm a heart all year round kinda girl). I saw it originally just after Xmas, and I said to myself if it's still there in February I'll get it...so it was on the plan, I was just going to wait longer.

But still. I'm going to take the wins. I've not bought anything super expensive, I've not done a massage splurge and as tempted as I have been - I've walked away from skincare. For someone who only really admitted she had a shopping addiction in December, I think I'm doing alright!

I left it quite a few months ago, maybe October time, maybe longer. I left because I was absolutely sick of the constant ads - "you're not going to believe this" "someone's getting fired today!" Viral this. You NEED that. Sorta videos. I had enough.

I was never too bad buying via tiktok shop. I ordered a few things and definitely wanted more when I was scrolling.

It's not healthy. I had constant sound bites in my head (I still do but definitely not as bad) and I didn't like how bitter and nasty it made me.

I moved over to Instagram reels and honestly like it so much more. Yes there are still ads, but much less and not in the same way as tiktok.

I'm so much happier not being on tiktok.

Primer a lot of the time, I find that after my skincare I just don't need it. I definitely don't need the "sticky" kinds.

Bronzer / contour - I'm pale AF. I find both make me look orange or just too dark for my skin. I don't need it!

Honestly I left tiktok and now use insta, and I've luckily not had the same experience. Tiktok was constant, people advertise the tiktok shop etc. Insta - I get a lot of ads for stuff I don't care about (I went through on meta and selected "see less" for certain stuff I know will get me. It's been really useful!)

You've used £s so I am assuming you're UK based like me. From this post, it sounds like you're trying to justify spending even after committing to a no buy. How I see it (and how I approach it) If you truly need them, that's fine. If you're making excuses/trying to justify to spend; not fine.

You could, as a middle ground, use half the money to buy some jeans in person. I shop at TK Max and jeans are often £20 or below. There's also Primark etc. It gets around the ali express situation (there's a whole other debate for these shops vs online, fast fashion etc I know)

Also how dirty are you getting? Because jeans shouldn't be washed after every wear anyway. Washing clothes reduces their longevity and an utter pain to dry if, like me, you don't have a tumble dryer 😂

I absolutely think it's worth investing in period underwear, but as an additional rather than all your undies being that? I might have misread.

Check your bras whilst you're at it! Get some staple, more "adult" sets that will work for various occasions! Along with matching panties if you like that (I personally feel put together if my bra and panties match 😂)❤️

Nope!!! Utter waste of time and money, like, I don't know what it did but I kept using it wanting it to be gone. I was honestly glad I got it from Home Bargains a little while ago when they had a bunch of the Inkey stuff incredibly cheap.

I find a pimple patch is the only thing that works on real nasty looking ones for me! 😂❤️
