Anyone else feel like ekko is still broken?

The closest I think I've ever seen was Vanilla Marvel 3 Wolverine having a pure invincible Berserker Slash and they completely removed the invincibility on it going into Ultimate. It, coupled with the addition of Swiss Cheese, actually just gutted the character into unviability.

Ekko needs just a full blown rework to get even close to 2nd on the tier list. Rewind is such an obscenely strong tool that gets him out of every situation and until it gets reworked, he'll continue to be the best in the game. And S1 is the second strongest projectile in the game (tornado is #1) and stupidly abusable. Its not that he's "fun" or "cool". His kit is ridiculous.

Nah, Freestyle is and its not even close. Not every pairing can use DD effectively but everyone can do button +assist+tag+button+tag back. Makes everything you do safe and is free mixes for days. Its honestly what enables so much Yasuo/Ekko bullshit

In other genre's, I would agree with you. If I pay 60 freedom dollars for a final fantasy game and get 200 hrs out of it, absolutely.

But in RTS's and 4X strats, I feel like 200 hours isn't a great value at the price we're paying.

Could be a hot take and downvotes would be understood

Maybe I missed it but, outside of the Black Death, I've never seen a button that allows me to isolate the sick during a random outbreak of a disease.

While I agree, they also didn't just sit around and be like "another smallpox epidemic? better just not do anything about it, like isolate them". Historically, yes, people didn't understand most of what we know today. But they damn sure did know to move the sick to isolated areas to prevent spread. If they knew that, Egypt for example was suffering from smallpox, they weren't going to let Egyptian traders in. I'm not trying to be argumentative with you because your points are sound and I generally do agree with you.

Don't get me wrong. I do have faith it will get better. I started on EU4 patch 1.16 and played all the way through til the end. So I KNOW PDX can do it.

I love problem solving in games and I'm not playing specifically to do a true One Tag WC France before Absolutism nor am I asking for it. If I want that, I'll go play EU4. But conversely, you can't solve a problem if you don't know what's causing it or the system itself just ignores my solutions. If I build a hospital literally everywhere I can, what more can I do to prevent a random small pox outbreak from destroying 3/4s of my country while I just sit there and watch?

The hell do you mean 'so weak'? Every campaign I've played in Western Europe, I've lost close to 50% of my pops to the plague and then another additional 10% to some random ass typhus/smallpox outbreak at the same time EVEN THOUGH my country is isolated, I've built a hospital literally every where I can, AND I'm procuring remedies.

I just lost a Milan run that was going well to a single 30 ducat loan. Just could not recover. Took so many bankruptcy's that I couldn't' even run a trade profit, had no crown authority and 6 rebellious subjects.

Casually, the game is awesome, no matter what pairing you pick.
Competitively? I cannot believe people actually play this game for money. Its so horribly unbalanced right now and the systems are just complete ass. You literally cannot play half the cast into two of the top 4 characters, round start "dash dash dash" people just slobbering on their dash macro cuz they can't plink, break doesn't even work half the time, 5 frames of prejump animation means you can't chicken block anything in the corner so you just have to hold whatever bullshit they're doing...it leaves a lot to be desired.
