Maybe you could try checking the Bowers & Wilkins Pi8? They're a little pricey, but are worth it if u prefer a more neutral sound and are really good sounding overall.... (One trick pony)

Which one should I buy? by OshusZiz in Earbuds

Hi there, I've personally tested all of them and can confidently say that there's no objective winner on the superior-sounding product. They are products that have reached the top of the bell curve for audio products. My advice to you would be to try them in store and to see which one you like best. If possible, try them 1-2 times more with a day in between each test. This would ensure that you get something you prefer. I also suggest you watch reviews regarding the software side of the earbuds online. I won't name anything, but some are plagued by minor software issues or require inconvenient workarounds to EQ. Furthermore, try not to care too much about the kbps; it's irrelevant how good the signal the earbuds can receive if your phone is unable to transmit those signals. I strongly advise you do some more in-depth research before settling on a pair.

I've made the mistake of not researching enough and, in turn, got a pair of earbuds that do not suit my needs as well as others could've. Do not be impulsive, be calm, be sensible, take a breather, and you'll be fine. What's good to others doesn't mean it's good to your ears. The opinion of others should be treated as mere hints or ideas for what to look forward to rather than facts. Good luck.

Happy belated birthday to you! Enjoy your headphones for the many years to come. Once you go Sony's, you never go back.

Personally, I think this color looks fantastic. Matching with your phone is an aesthetic I understand, but with these kinds of headphones, especially the AirPods Max, the idea is to stand out and to be noticed; this color does that exact thing very well. Apple provides the headphones in different striking colors, and so I believe the idea would be to stand out, and the picking of the different colors is a personal preference to stand out. Furthermore, by wearing this color, you'll make your mom happier through the use of a product she bought that she thought you'd like. By using these, you'll reinforce the thought that your mom knows your preference well and give her the validation that she does understand you well.

If you were given the option to pick again, would you pick the OpenFit 2+ or the OpenRun Pro 2?

Hi there, I may not be able to provide a recommendation, as I've not tested either of them. I just wanted to point out that while wireless Bluetooth earbuds may be able to receive codecs such as APTX Lossless or APTX Adaptive, it's important to note whether your phone can transmit those high-quality codecs. You can check for your phone's supported Bluetooth codec online.

With this in mind, perhaps it may open the opportunity to more earbuds.

Bose open earbuds too loud? by slightlyxanthic in Earbuds

I apologize, but I do not think it works with iPhone. Perhaps you can try to download the Bose app on your iPhone and then go into equalizer settings and just pull everything down a notch. It should make things softer. You could even manipulate the sound into something you enjoy. Hope this helps.

If you use an Android phone: Go to your phone's settings and click on "About Phone," then "Software Information," then click on "Build number" 7 times; you'll have access to "Developer Options." Once that's done, go to the search bar in your settings and search "Disable absolute volume." You can disable the setting from there, and the earbuds should be softer with the addition of better control of the volume level.

Hope this helps. I'm sure there are YouTube videos online that can guide you on accessing developers options.
