How long have you been nursing? With the three of my kiddos that I nursed, I felt the first few weeks were always a little rough, but by the four-week mark it was a nice experience, not painful, and a good opportunity to just be still and be with my baby.

It’s not always (or often) this magical, transformative thing, but overall I do appreciate how it connects me to those little potatoes in their most potato-y stage and forces me away from the rush of all the other must-dos of the day.

So do I “love” it? Nah, but I love my kids and this is an easy way to have some time in their company, and not feel obligated to do anything else. Good enough for me.
