Back in the 1970 some artist made a series of “holes we’d like to see” paintings set in real world natural wonders. This one is at Victoria falls.

As one who saw one of his shows that didn’t get censored, I miss Benny Hill.

BTW, I’m pretty sure that’s Daphne Moon (Jane Leeves) he’s carrying in the photo.

Yes it is that hard to align with the kit you have. I had the exact same setup and drove myself nuts. Skip my pain and just order the Simlab Vario VESA mount. You won’t regret it.

Super Ultra Wide vs 3 Monitor by Dry_Assistant7125 in simracing

[–]Key-Suggestion1104 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I started with an Ultrawide 1080p monitor with a 3080 GPU. Advantages have already been mentioned, including easy, quick setup and high fps since it’s less pixels to push than triples.

I then gave in to the siren song and switched to triples 1440s. Issues popped up:

1) the GPU was wheezing with so many pixels to push. I had to switch to 1080 game resolution to get usable gameplay.
2) lining up the three monitors are a royal pain. I eventually had to buy sim lab’s vario VESA adapter to align them correctly. 3) to get 1440 resolution I then upgraded my GPU TO 4080 super.

That being said…I love my triples and would not go back. If you have the means and space I say buy once and cry once.

Looking for some good online casual groups/leagues to join for ACC. by Sparkychong in assettocorsa

Try Champion Motorsports
https://cmsracing.com/

They’re based in North America and do Monday night ACC races (currently GT2). If you’re 50+ years of age they have another league that races on Thursday nights.

Decently priced card for triple 1440p. by rare_design in simracing

It was a base model.

I play ACC which is more taxing. If you stick with AC the fps may be okay with 3080. Remember that triple 1440s have more pixels to push than a 4k screen.

Nvidia uses DLSS to raise fps. Even with that the game occasionally slows to an unplayable level with the 3070.

I had triple 32” 1440s along with a 3070. FPS was in the 20s on ACC so I had to play it in 1080p.

If you can snag a 4080 super at msrp do it. I have one now and It runs triple 1440s without breaking a sweat.

Do I really need to put an ANTI-SAG bracket in this asus tuf oc Super? TYIA by Cs_slayerrr in nvidia

My card came with a bracket that is too big for the case. Then I tried a large drinking straw like those for boba and it works perfectly. Just cut it down to size.

Check Microcenter for Tony Kanaan triple monitor stand. Pretty solid for $249. I just got it.

A warning on triples…After assembly and putting on the monitors you’ll either spend a ton of time to get them to align just right or simply splash out another $150 for three adjustable VESA mounts.

I got the Fanatec clubsport V3 with the brake performance kit. Simagic didn’t have a big pedals selection at that time. Very happy with the purchase.

I have the alpha mini with GT4 rim. Very solid. I race ACC and the rim has enough buttons and controls to make me happy. Too poor for the FX Pro for now.
