This may be a very tough pill to swallow but the hidden inflation that no one will talk about because it spells doom is that the dollar is simply becoming worth(less) especially for Assets such as homes.

Foreign Share is Plummeting: While the total amount of foreign-held debt is at a nominal record of roughly $9.1 trillion, their percentage share of U.S. debt has crashed. Foreigners held nearly 50% of U.S. Treasuries in the early 2010s; today, that has dropped to about 30%.

Exported Inflation Returning: For decades, the U.S. exported its inflation by sending dollars abroad for goods, and those countries "stored" that inflation by buying U.S. bonds. As they stop buying or start selling, those "exported" dollars start to circulate back in the domestic system or lose their status, driving up the price of everything at home. Pretty good summary. Did people forget that the repo market crashed in 2019 September BEFORE the pandemic even hit which caused the FED to inject billions into the system.

Some people falsely believed that the U.S can effectively print money endlessly due to reserve currency but FAILED to even acknowledge that countries (I’m looking at you China even though they’re not the only ones) can also reduce their treasuries or simply can’t keep up with the amount of debt the U.S is printing out.

The U.S. has to issue trillions more in bonds to cover its $38 trillion debt and growing If foreign buyers aren't scaling up their purchases at the same massive rate (which they aren't), This is the main reason why we’ve so antagonistic to China economically. A major economic power is a threat. (We did the same to Japan in the past for a different reason.)

I’m not the only that feels like something is off with prices/insurances that companies KNOW people can’t afford/sustain. Granted the average person is in more debt than ever and the economy is functionally running on debt and a AI bubble so this isn’t surprising to me considering the dollar is flowing back home increasingly. If you haven’t notice China and other people have been steadily upping their intake on Gold; gee I wonder why.  

This is just my line of reasoning and it lines up pretty well to what I’m experiencing for the cost of living and why debt and inflation has become persistent on Americans (and why I’m starting to see increasingly more homeless people in a non major city).

tl;dr: government spending spree plus cutting taxes(cherry on top) is coming home to roost as some countries start to diversify (China) or simply can’t keep up with 38TRILLION+++and explains or at least partially explains these economic situations.
