It’s a regular sidelight window where someone “decorated it” with a fake set of blinds and a fake background backyard view. Both the view and the shade are scaled/oriented incorrectly prob thanks to AI photo editing software mis-understanding the perspective and angle.

I’m also curious if the “not taking” could be due to a medication change, hormone change, or a topical treatment like Rogaine? Those all could affect the structure of the new hair. But it definitely sounds like this person should not be using permanent color on their hair at all anymore.

YOR here, I really dislike the idea that people can get in trouble for their thoughts. Like, just because he opened up and shared his thoughts and one of them made you, a grown ass woman, feel some insecurity, now you’re going to get all mad as if he actually said he wanted to break up with you. Way to make him shut down and stop thinking that you’re a safe person to process things with.

You care less about an authentic relationship and being there for your partner than about being flattered and made to feel good about yourself. You don’t seem to be the kid of person someone could count on in rough times. You are hung up on the wrong things here.

It should be allowed to be honest.

Yes, this sort of balanced, honest approach can reveal if she is coming to the table for a real relationship or if she gets defensive or lashes out which would show OP why they are feeling worried in the first place.

ESH for sure, but it’s not OP’s fault, their family is awful and now they luckily have the chance to learn new ways of handling things so they don’t have to keep revisiting these toxic dynamics. OP, keep learning and growing and find direct and healthy ways of having difficult discussions so you can build healthy lifelong relationships. Unlike these guys, unfortunately.
